I'm not one for war talk, but its just being tactical.

Certain measures have to be taken to continue to provide safety to Western Nations against the threat of attack.

When there is a lack of funding bad things happen.

Spy agency to shut six branches

Oh and the Fighter Jets that are going to be built will I'm sure be far more advanced that what the US will sell to other countries, I dont think they are stupid ?

For every piece of weaponry that the United States sells to other countries i.e Bombs, Planes - they already have counter measures in place.

I think it is a loyalty issue.

Lots of secret agents are going private contractor routes
including the CIA. Working in the private sector, they are
not bond to a flag or the Geneva Convention and can operate

that employ them, not Obama.

Getting back on Topic here, I do think that it was a missile but I still have a sneaking suspicion that it had the flag of the good old U.S of A slapped across it.

It may have been a test or maybe it was a smoke screen for something.

And I also have a suspicion that the US used a very good P.R team to kind of shift the blame China's way and let the conspiracy theorists have a fun time with it.

Then a Fighter Jet just suddenly malfunctions in Alaska out of all places (Plenty of potential witnesses there) *Sarcasm*

Now they announce two days later that they will build these new fighter jets that they have been speculating about for years which can almost defy the laws of gravity.

My alarm bells rang when this all happend in quick succession thats all im saying

No contractor goes to Iraq/Afghanistan without a Federal Contract. Obama IS making the call to send in contractors...they all work for HIM.

Presidents enjoy the luxury of putting appointees in charge of those Executive Departments, managing those Contractors.

private companies like Xe were put in place by Bush
Administration. Obama is just honoring the contracts.
And by the way, Xe no longer operates in Iraq. Their
license was revoked by the Iraqi Gov in Jan of 2009
and the last Xe contractor left in Sept of 2009.

to restrict them out of Afgh as well. Xe is a private
company that had contracts with the US Gov State Dept.
That does not mean Obama sent them there, they were
already there when Obama got into office.

You set out a convincing analysis of the missile, together with flight plans and positions of the jet's supposedly responsible for the trail, but now you are saying you think it's all created propaganda to get Obama out of office?

Perhaps if this is a plot to discredit Obama, it really was a missile, but an American missile, launched from an American Sub...designed to look like the Chinese are playing dangerous games, and Obama hasn't said a word.

But i'm curious as to why you appear to have done a complete U turn in only a few days?

Yes it was a plane. My name is Tim Brummer, I am an aerospace engineer BSAE Northrop University 1978. I worked on the B-1 bomber program, and was later a rocket launch engineer at Vandenberg Air Force Base working for Martin Marietta on the Titan and Space Shuttle programs from 1981 to 1992. You can Google my name along with "Northrop University" or "Martin Marietta".

I have watched at least 100 rocket launches from Vandenberg AFB up close in person. This General has apparently never seen a rocket launch in person. It's a lot different seeing them in person as compared to a video.

At first glance the trail looks like a rocket launch, but it falls apart under scrutiny.
1. When you closely watch the video, the object creating the trail is moving very slowly, a rocket at this altitude would be going 5000 to 10,000 MPH.
2. The trail is too wide, rocket smoke trails are much narrower.
3. There is no flame shooting out of the object, rockets have a bright yellow flame at least as long as the rocket itself shooting out (it shows up as white on film).
4. After a few minutes a rocket exhaust trail zigzags all over the sky, due to high speed winds coming from different directions, this trail maintains it's shape.
5. You can HEAR a rocket launch at least 30 miles away, they have a very distinctive low cackling rumble caused by the supersonic exhaust, a Titan IV would really rattle the windows on my house 15 miles away, did anyone in the LA beach area or out on a boat HEAR it? No.

When I saw the closeup video shot, for I instantly knew it was a contrail coming off a jet aircraft because or reasons #1 thru #3 above. Further viewing confirms it's an aircraft by #4.

If nobody believes the above reasons I can post actual rocket videos.

could you provide examples of contrails forming in this manner well below 5000 feet?
