Its too bad Americans dont have the guts to refuse this in sufficient numbers.(what a nightmare it would be for tptb) You talking about taking your power back if you could do it in sufficient numbers..this would do it.

Unfortunately it wont happen. I am afraid at this point the USA and Western influenced nations would gladly be lead to death camps if there was a proper justification for it.

Fear is the driving force..has nothing to do with respect of the law, authority,or leaders through obedience

Money

Michael Chertoff and George Soros: TSA scanning device profiteers

The Washington Examiner exposes the left-wing, politically-connected lobby for the controversial TSA naked body scanners, noting that a company called Rapiscan received a $165 million contract for the new body image scanners four days after the underwear-bomber incident last Christmas.

And who surfaces behind the scenes? None other than the billionaire funder of the country’s liberal political infrastructure George Soros — who owns 11,300 shares of OSI Systems Inc., the company that owns...

Save everything you get. Especially anything you sign. I would bet it is on the back of the ticket. Something along of the lines of "agree to follow all FAA/TSA rules and regulations... subject to a $10,000 fine..."

Without our consent any threat of a fine is nothing but hot air. As far as TSA actually detaining someone, in my opinion, would be false imprisonment.

With all the technology that we have these days, I'm sure that we can find a way that doesn't include sexual assault. Metal detectors, sniffer dogs, armed pilots, etc.

So I refuse to be scanned naked as per my right as a human being, I refuse to be fondled by a fat jobsworthy security guard and there is ZERO chance I would allow anyone who isn't a qualified paediatric nurse or doctor with a medical reason to go near my daughters nor will I allow them to be subject to child pornographers.
My option, don't fly, that's it, that is the only option left, I don't need to fly so that is a plus but it means my children won't get to visit the world or experience other ways of life, well that's as maybe but this is the only option because I guarantee it will soon (if it isn't already) be part of the boarding procedure for ferries too.

Muslims win again.
Keep tightening that noose.

Yeah put an armed NAVY Seal on each flight... to stand vigilant

I don't see the cost of that being any higher than all this current mess

More likely they will cry for another tax payer bail out like after the last 'terrorist attack' And get it

It was governments (CIA, Mossad) who created terrorism anyway.

Agreed.. but we are still arguing over 9/11 today. Wernher von Braun told us about the four manufactured threats to America 1) The Russians (we really bought into that cold war scam) 2) Terrorists ( yup... on going plan in action) 3) Asteroids 4) Alien Invasion

Phase 2 well under way

Some people I talk to say, "its for our own good! Why do people want to fight the TSA?! They're just looking out for us!"

To some extent I agree. The TSA originally was supposed to help secure our safety. But now people feel neither safe, nor confident with the whole process. To me that says there's a problem.

I dont see the logic of searching people at random, and making everyone suffer through an embarrassing ordeal all in the name of safety. The 9/11 hijackers allegedly used sharpened plastic shanks as weapons. TSA's answer was to wand everyone with the metal detector?

Some guy puts explosives in his underwear, but now I have to remove my shoes, my coat, my belt, my wallet, my phone, my keys, (god forbid you have one of those mini swiss army knives on your key chain!!) my hat, my ID, my airline ticket, my computer, my ipod, my head phones, and all of this has to be done quickly on an assembly line while TSA employees give you the stink eye? How does that make anyone feel safer?

It was bad enough when the whole process was stressful enough, especially if you're traveling with children (talk about nervous breakdown!), now its stressful, embarrassing, anxiety ridden, and violating.

This seems like a slippery slope indeed. We're supposed to have rights in place that protect us from unreasonable searches and seizures. Hell, law enforcement officers have to have justifiable reasons to search, and even then you can contest it. And in my opinion they're better trained to administer such searches.

Whats next? Security check points on the road? Oh wait.......

Sue TSA and all those involved as a class action lawsuit. If your rights are further denied and you're treated as a criminal, then by all means, use what ever means to combat this act of terror and enslavement on the American people by its government.

We have a right to be protected from unreasonable searches & seizures. When are we, the American people going to unite on common ground and say enough is enough? One way or another, the powers that be need to get the message that they can't bully us around anymore. The power is in YOUR HAND. NOT the government. So boycott the airlines. Don't fly at all. This goes for any thing else too. Kill the beast. The power is with us!The ordinary citizens. We can make the government do as we want if we unite and cut off their control of us. I love Chinese and tempting as it can be to shop at Walmart and other stores. We need to stop it for the sake of our country! I'm tired of seeing my towels and wash rags being made in Pakistan or India & China. ( Read the labels! )

Well so far this is not the norm at all airports... here in Vegas all is normal. My wife just flew to Florida and had no problems here at all... but she didn't have nice words to say about the return trip from Orlando

First, we are innocent until proven guilty. Second, the fourth amendment clearly tells the government no searches without warrants. And lastly, if this is not stopped right here right now it will spread to many other areas of our lives - malls, sporting events, perhaps even grocery stores. They will try take away all our rights to privacy and treat us like criminals in the name of protecting us. This country will be worse than Nazi Germany ever was. Yeah I know, you think I'm just fear mongering. You think I'm paranoid delusional. Yet YOU who defend all this are the ones who think a terrorist is hiding around every corner. Who's paranoid now?

Our rights are ours by virtue of being human. We should not grovel at the feet of a Government begging for a few privileges that they might take away on a whim. The rights of free humanity are not derived by a Government. It is not the place of a Government to grant or deny rights. We do not "give up" our rights when we purchase airline tickets. Governments don't get to cherry pick when we have rights and when we don't. It is not the place of Governments. The purpose of a Government of free people is to protect the people's rights, not trample on them.

TSA VIPR mission at Indianapolis Bus Stops

TSA bus passenger searches

Posted by Dan Burton on October 3, 2007 During the past 18 months, TSA has collaborated with local law enforcement to conduct 84 VIPR missions from coast to coast. VIPR teams are specifically designed to enhance security by working in mass transit, aviation, rail and other transportation modes along side local law enforcement agencies during specific periods of time or events. The exact makeup of teams is determined jointly with local authorities. As I understand it, on August 2, 2007, a VIPR team screened passengers at two downtown Indianapolis city bus stops. All of the searches were by-permission; meaning patrons could decline to be checked. According to TSA, those who did decline were not turned away unless they otherwise appeared to be a security threat.

Did you know that the TSA searches cars, trains, and bus
www.democraticunderground.com...

"The rail, ferries and tunnels in Hampton Roads are getting extra attention. On Tuesday morning, dozens of law enforcement agents greeted drivers at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. The substantial traffic stop included a driver's license check as well as explosive and drug sniffing dogs." "Since Viper's inception in 2007, 3,500 operations have been conducted, half of those this year. Agents have nabbed drugs and illegal weapons. The larger goal is to deter terrorist activity." "We do rail, we do busing, we do pipelines. We're out there for all commercial modes of transportation,"

www.flyertalk.com...

"In Virginia Beach this week, drivers on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel are witnessing the police state in action — armed TSA VIPER teams with bomb-sniffing dogs are checking in determined fashion for al-Qaeda, or so they tell the public. A VIPER operation began early Tuesday and lasted through the afternoon,” reports WVEC. “As many as 60 people with the TSA, the tunnel police, Coast Guard, NCIS, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Norfolk Police and Virginia Beach Police are part of the security checkpoint that’s occurring on both ends of the span.” "In 2005, VIPER teams began to patrol Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and Los Angeles rail lines, ferries in Washington state, bus stations in Houston, and mass transit systems in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore." "Last week, the TSA searched passengers in Orlando, Florida, at a Greyhound bus station. Nearly 700 passengers “went through tougher-than-normal security procedures Thursday as part of a random check coordinated by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration,” the Orlando Sentinel reported."

Insanity rules supreme... seems I can see just who the real terrorists are. Isn't it the goal of a terrorist to instill fear in the 'enemy'? Seems al-Qaeda has won... without having to do anything. The PTB are doing all the work for them.

Too late...

Our teams have been utilized to clear sports arenas, schools, office buildings as well as all areas of the airport environment. Once again the bomb dog's mobility and ability to identify the source of an explosive odor are critical elements in its operational use.
