Are They Serious? The United Nations Tried To What To The United States In The 90s?

Please watch the above video, i'm kind of confused as to it's origins
Some of the things being said by the narrator in the video are things i've never heard about

I think that whether it was true or not the tides have changed
I guess they thought that the U.N gave too much power or influence for too many countries to speak, so they created G20.

But what are your thoughts on this video?

I think Ron Paul has many very good points. Why is the U.S. giving
the U.N. our Rights? The U.S. Government officials are elected by the
people of this Country (United States of America) and not by foriegn
interests or foreign countries. The United Nations has no power over
the U.S.A. and should not be allowed do rule this nation, period.
I think that when enough people find out, there will be hell to pay
by the traitors who are selling this country out.
