I dont think NZ is anti US, wasn't Clinton just there and was promisied cooperation?
I know they banned their nuclear ships but then so did Australia..

I can't speak for that as an Aussie but my Maori bro just here says

"Yeah there is that rivalry between us but we all know it will be the US who saves us (& Australia) if we are attacked"

That' s funny. I've never even been to the land of the long white cloud. I'm on the other side of the world, in a country almost as totalitarian as the US -Brazil, but I am not Brazilian, I just happen to live here.

You have been deceived OZ as a whole is not Anti US. maybe some individuals. The fact every war the US goes into we are there helping out whether we believe in it or not. That should answer to you how Australia as a whole (Not individuals) feel about the US

Why not derail this thread a bit more. I Know Rockingham, Perth, Mandurah, etc having lived there for probably more years than you have been alive.

I would seriously dispute that LOL! And yes back to the Afghan debacle. All the protests in the world count for nothing!. The troops will win. I am extremely proud of them for defending our country against the terrorist threat. maybe the protesters should think these troops are going to defend them when it all turns bad!
