Lets ask the tech people something

If you people are so bright, then where are the automobiles that turn into motor boats for the regular folk? Then we'd all take on floods when they hit, now wouldnt we? Then we wouldnt need certain bridges, now would we? But there is no one smarter than a mind with intelligent sense.

If you people are so bright, then where are the houses with elevator floors? Then we'd be able to be up on second floor level or down on first floor level or down into basement level, now wouldnt we? But there is no one cooler than a mind with advance sense.

I guess tech folk aren't but dull people for the most part IN THIS DAY AND AGE.

Instead, we got 'cut the corner' made THINGS. Then there are plenty recalls. Let the real geniuses redesign the cities and vehicles and houses and all gagets. All you 'cheapscape, cut the corner to save yourself money' types are ruining civilization at the root and up.

Gov is against people like me. Or else you should have been seeing such things. An ill-willed gov doesn't like actual geniuses unless their designs include HOLES, as in BACK DOORS the gov can use over people. If desktops and laptops as an invention didnt HAVE BACKDOORS, do you honestly think THE GOV will have allowed them for the general public's use? Look at cell phones, TOO.

Society needs to be practical. It needs to work.

You cannot have flying cars for instance as that would be more dangerous than normal cars lol. Do you get me, why world and techs need to be practical.

You say about flying cars would be more dangerous but think of the tech they have now do u not think they could make them and give them the tech to not bump anything as it is already being tested and has been done for years. think about all the films u c with flying cars and how much stuff in films comes true.

I am still wondering about why some damn genius hasn't invented food that cuts itself, like a steak that doesn't need the person eating it to slice it with a knife. No, sirloin tips do not count. Tips are not a single piece of steak that can be grilled.

How about some sort of device that changes a baby's diapers with no parental involvement. It would need to be gentle and sanitary, but not very expensive.

What are your thoughts?

There are plenty of techie, fun things you can do. The bean counters and safety nuts haven't totally taken over. Skydiving, hangliding, SCUBA diving, skiing. Most airports have flight schools if you want to fly airplanes. Check to see if you havea stunt driving school near you. Worst case, you can fly helicopters in Vegas, and fire fully automatic rifles while you're there.

If that really worries you, throw away your cell phone and invest a couple hundred dollars in an old PC, install linux on it and use it as a gateway so you can monitor all traffic.
