Excalibur is a far less sophisticated low budget US Army drone than the ones developed in the 1990's for the USAF and the Pentagon. It's a armed tactical UAV produced with industry under a unclassified project unlike the drones I was talking about that were part of a top secret project intended for night operations surveillence produced under what you would call a "black operations" budget. Excalibar has a clear foriegn military role whereas these drones were the basis of a domestic targeted surveillance system which if made public could have brought up lots of constitutional implications...

Nice link though since it shows the sort of machine I was talking about and answers the "hilarious" comment of the member Exocet to the idea of VTOL based drones.

I'm most interested in the behavior of the helicopter, and the "boom". Could have been a warning shot, or actual attack. Sound analysis would help.

That seems like kind of a silly question considering what my cousin told me took place ON a military base lol. Even though I knew the answer to the question I still asked him if he got pics. He just looked at me like "your joking right?" and said he was told to leave his cell phone in the control room. So no I have no proof. Just sharing my personal experience with the sonic wave these things make. I guess the one I experienced may not have even been caused by the same thing actually, but the size of the boom, and the triangle shape reminded of the whole thing. He did tell me to go outside around 4am the next day if I wanted to see it being escorted to whiteman. I ended up seeing a craft that looked just like the one in the video with two smaller ones on each side of it the morning he said. They were too high up for pics to come out decent, and I don't own a video camera worth trying it. My cousin doesn't believe in UFO's or anything, but he was very excited to see such a cool man made aircraft that reminded him of a UFO. Anyway I just wanted to share that. I see alot of stuff living so close to Ft. Wood, but it's usually just jets playing, B2's doing practice re-fuels, or one really long aircraft that flies over now and then I should probably get more excited about than I do lol. If I ever see anything worth posting IMO though I will do so.

Looks like it might have the right shape to explain the lighting configuration. Looks like it would be pretty noisy, you can hear the helicopter in the footage quite clearly, I would imagine you'd be able to hear a drone like that very clearly from that distance which only looks to be a couple of hundred metres.
Seems like sonic booms have been occurring on a regular basis in that area which makes me think military. I'm happy to be wrong though

i was intrigued with this video and asked LunaCognita to try and brighten up the scene so we could maybe see the shape of the supposed triangle ufo but the only thing the enhancement revealed was a small light that is to the left of the triangle (you can't see it in the original video) look for it at the end @ 1:21

("chrestien83" told me it was ok to upload this enhancement on youtube)

this is what LunaCognita said about the enhancement....

"I spiked the video to highlight every pixel that is not solid black, but as you can see, except for the lights, the whole scene is essentially 100% solid black. Watch at the very end. There does seem to be a small light to the left of the UFO that appears out of nowhere after the boom, pulsating a little bit (at about 1:21 it appears to the left of the triangle). Since the background is solid black and the objects/lights are small, I wasn't worried about fine detail, and I enlarged the whole file, just to double up any pixels that had luminance info so they would be easier to detect any lights - or anything that was not solid black rather. You should mention that small light at the end that appears in case no one has noticed it yet."

original video

this is a interesting incident to say the least and i hope Mufon shares the results of their investigation with everyone

Nice find, I wonder what that was to the left of the triangle. I'm still surprised there's not any more information or news on this. Or at least another video. That's a strange event for many to not notice. I still think it's weird that the military/police places nearby said they had no knowledge of drills going on in the area. Definitely one of the more interesting UFO videos I've seen.

Hahaha. That's pretty funny. I filed several copyright infringments for people who never asked permission to use the video and received this in my mail the day the videos were removed:

Hello You The #ing Moron

For your record arsewipe your video was crap anynow & fake. Not many viewed it anyhow.
I was ready to remove it anyhow. I was just doing you a favour & gave your useless fake video some views.
You believe I give a # about views you #ing piece of #.
I'll do something much better I'll just delete my channel like I've done on many times because I don't give a #.
Now go forward & # yourself.

I plan to end every conversation with "Now go forward & # yourself." from now on. Thanks for looking out for me.

I've learned a few more details since my last post, though it doesn't really answer any questions.

When Dan's mother called the police about the booms that night, they were the ones that told her it was a grenade exercise. The following Sunday (two days later), when Dan and his girlfriend drove around to police stations, was when this explanation was not corroborated with any stations; most notably, the station linked with training exercises.

Supposedly this exercise took place in a junk yard (about a 10 minute walk away from Dan's house). They went to investigate and, as Dan's girlfriend describes it (I'm paraphrasing here), "There were two men working there, straight out of The Hills Have Eyes. The first directed us to the second who was working in an 'office'. It was the weirdest thing ever: When we asked him about the booms, he kept fumbling over his words and then told us to wait for a second. He went into a back room for a few minutes, and when he came back out, he said, 'Yes. They were testing compression grenades and the noise they created was from the oxygen expanding etc etc...' All of a sudden he knew the exact science, word for word. We asked if they were ever going to test them again and he was like, "No. Absolutely not. Never again.' It was suspicious, to say the least."

He pointed them to "where the test took place" several yards away. There were a few, seemingly abandoned homes whose front windows had been blown out. They snuck around the back, and through the kitchen windows, saw racks of clothes, boxes, furniture and kitchenware--all undamaged--as though someone had moved their belongings to the back of the house. That everything was undamaged suggests the owners protected their belongings before their windows were broken. At least, that's my take on it.

They also went to a horse farm directly next to the junk yard, and the people there, who had been home all night on Friday, didn't hear a thing and reported no abnormal behavior from their horses.. the cows on Dan's farm had freaked out quite a bit.

Edit: Also, I'm not sure if Dan has reported to Mufon yet; he's a busy guy. I'll ask him about it today

This is farm area, so neighbor-distance is determined by how big your farm is, I guess. I should correct that in my other response.

Yes- that's the video from my channel. I was sick of people re-uploading it without asking.

Great video! The more I see these triangular aircraft, the more I think they are military. The Aurora, or whatever you want to call it. There have been very loud booms all over the country the past few years, and I believe that they come from these aircraft as they reach incredible speeds. We had an incident here in Louisiana a few months ago, a VERY loud boom, followed by a low rumble. This sound was so loud it actually broke windows. Some said they saw a triangular aircraft, I did not, but saw helicopters shortly after. I think one day soon, we will hear an announcement about a new fighter jet, just like what happened with the Stealth........a lot of the ufo reports back then were probably sightings of the Stealth, as we had never seen aircraft like that before. The same is probably happening now.....however.....I do believe some reports are extraterrestrial....just not the triangles.

The Aurora project if it became successful would not produce sonic booms.

As far as the video footage, it was crap..

Not sure what that video is suppose to sell, but I did not see a ufo, just a police chopper..

The triangle of white lights was the "UFO" not necessarily saying alien (was speculating it was a military craft being tested or something), the red lights were from the helicopter. We were thinking that the boom heard in the video was from the helicopter, and I assumed any sonic booms heard might have been from jets in the area (possibly interested in the same thing as the helicopter). If the triangle lights are identifiable and not an UFO, then what do you think it is? You could at least say what you think the craft is in addition to saying it's crap.
