Heaven knows you have the God given right to espouse these thoughts. But at what point do we have to give you credence and at what point do we have the right to call you what you are...paranoid?

The most popular phrase on the site is "sheeple." You truly believe that those who disagree with you and your opinion are simply not as informed as you. You "get it." We don't. You took the time to find the truth. We are simply following the MSM and are under the spell of the NWO brainwashing. The last time I checked you guys who say that we are uninformed and you "understand the truth of the situation" are the same who accuse the government of the same. I think that the U.S. is the last and best hope for the world. If the U.S. goes down then where will all you gays go? Iran? Where will all of you pagans go. And all of you anti-government, anti-capitalists...where will you go? China? Burma? Russia?

Two things first of all... While there are some posts on here that stretch credibility, it is up to the ATS member to judge whether a certain topic is worthy of further discussion or not. I think the real lunatic posts quickly get called out on here. Secondly, your biggest problem seems to be that there are anti-religious threads on here. I think you have subconsciously tried to disguise pro religious sentiment underneath a plea for sanity. If you really want ATS people to stop putting up anti christian threads, just come right out and say it... don't try to hide it with complaints about other complaints.

Secondly, the sheer destruction and suffering the government of the United States has wrought on not only it's own people but the entire world for the last 50 years may be unmeasurable. If think the U.S. is the best hope for anything you are sadly mis-informed and mistaken.

I believe that a large part of this insanity is deliberately created.By that i mean, by many many sources, all with their agendas to push....

I personally have no major issue with a christian society...christianity is frankly the most peaceful and reasonable modern day religion in a group of insane crazy nonsense..

don't get me wrong...they are still in the crazy violent nonsense box with the rest of them, they just are sort of the best of a bad lot.

I think the point is not to simply embrace the best of the worst, but to continously try and progress past the fear of a old man on a throne bitchslapping us if we do something naughty. Religion is a drug for the masses whom have otherwise savage tendencies and it makes up for a poor law enforcement infrustructure. I think we as a civil society may be at the point where we do not need the threat of boogiemen and deities to have standards and principles...and the boogiemen/deity thing has alot of very ancient weight attached to it which no longer fits an advancing society.

It served us well to get to where we are today...however, like all things, it is past its use by date and its time to adopt a better way...one that stresses personal responsibility and harmony on a personal level.

I just find it funny when we live in a world that calls christianity evil. It gave us the society we have had in the west, and it gave you lot usa, which you claim is the only country where man was free. Of course usa is not like that now, and it is a democracy, so your slaves to the system again.

You completely lost me on the whole 'ho-mo-sexule' part. You're ok with 'them' until they want to have kids?? Or until 'Jimmy' is in the same school as ur kid?? Whats ur problem with any of it? How does it affect ur life and how u live it on a daily basis? How does a child living in a healthy happy home bother u? How does sending their child to school say anything of their desires in the bedroom? "They' deserve love and respect as long as u dont have to come into contact with or deal with them?
Your thought process went from understandable to bigoted really quick. Diversity of all kinds is beautiful to me. I thrive on it. My thoughts are that I can never live long enough to experience everything our world has to offer so I live them thru others. I think a mixture of buddhism or christianity is the best mix for me. It is what religion should be for me. But like op says, society has normalised evil, as something that is sane.

I have trouble seeing buddism as a religion verses a guided spiritual awakening on a person to person basis. I simply choose not to classify buddism as a actual religion in that regards.
philosophy of life...no hell to demand you follow the rules...arguably not much on the topics of heaven...its about personal ascention into something more meaningful...and if you screw up...meh, try again next time...you will get it eventually.

I think the problem with Buddhism is it embraces another male figure. Aphrodite based religion is just that, a religion. Why is it so difficult to embrace the Goddess. She is the equal counterpart to the male representative. For every black there is a white, for every yin there is a yang. Personally I think we should have a female based govt running our country, maybe the world. Men have over time proven theirselves lacking in the abilty, hence the state of our world. My wish is that women support one another, not be bitches to or jealous, hateful to one another. We can accomplish so much by working in unison. We could take over the patriarchal society we live in and I think it's about time.

No, I don't care if Jimmy is in the classroom. I care that his parents BOB and TOm are trying to convince my kids that BOB and TOM is equal to a straight marriage.

You CAN NOT go down the road of "All things are equal." Can't. Won't happen. Look at Rome. Look at the Greeks.

Affluence breeds the fight out of people. We are so wealthy that we are no discussing if BOB and TOM deserve public acknowledgemenent of their relationship. If animals deserve the same rights as people. If Parents have no say over their children. If Christianity is deserving of respect. If the U.S should even exist.

We are putting up with people who say they are smarter then others because they "get it" and others are simply to "drugged up" on their religion or their nationalism.

We are insane and need to realize that we got to this point by 3 things...

Respect for the individual and not the collective.

Those 3 things gave insane people the right to disparage God, guns and respect for the individual.

Actually, I was thinking along those roads myself just now, about a possible combination of Christianity and Buddhism. However, If that is to be actually followed on the road of Love and Compassion, it is required that the followers do not use the parts of Christianity as an exscuse for their own hatred towards people or folkgrous, as so many of them unfortunately do right now- Something that I just cannot see the "original" Christ even remotely agreeing with.


As for normalizing Evil... Well, I can agree partly with it, as certain discriminating "ways" is nowadays largely considered fully okay, as it is "politically Correct". This, in my opinion, is one of the definitions of "Evil".

Other parts I don't agree with at all, although I am very aware that a bunch of tinfoil hats and extreme "Christians" have decided that same sex-relations is pure evil and that all G@ys are part of NWO to take over the World.

Well, if so, then the Aphrodite-Religion, or atleast the pressumed followers, are revealed as being a sexist and misandric religion, if the only reason to follow this religion instead of other equally good religions, would be that the Deity is a female.

Then we are right back once again on a gender centered religion, and everyone would just be going in circles forever.

I just cannot see the horror of a Male-centered religion, if that religion is based on true Love and Compassion and Peace.
