This latest announcement seems as if the Obama Admin is trying to bate the cartels into the US...
Washington, Nov 18 -

The Obama Administration plans to withdraw National Guard troops from the Texas, New Mexico and California borders by the end February under a new Southwest security plan, even as turmoil in Mexican border cities grows, according to documents obtained by The Washington Examiner.

A letter sent to various members of the Texas Congressional delegation from Texas' Gov. Rick Perry's office says, "In February, 2011, the Texas, New Mexico, and California National Guard forces that were deployed to the border in September, 2010, under President's Obama's Southwest Border Augmentation Plan, will have 30 days to complete a total draw down of forces."

The roughly 550 troops will have the month of February to redeploy back to their units, Texas Congressman Ted Poe told The Examiner. Troops would not be pulled off the Arizona border under the plan, and about 100 of the troops would re-deploy there from other states, officials said.

Poe received the letter today. His office confirmed

The Mexican military has been deployed to the border, but since they arrived three years ago, the violence has tripled. Several cartel leaders have been captured, but the gangs continue to grow and get more violent.

Texas Governor Rick Perry says he is open to sending U.S. military troops into Mexico to fight the war on drugs. Perry said he likens the situation to the Colombian drug war.

He says just like Colombia, military action may be the only way to secure the U.S. -- but there are no plans to do such a thing.

So what's going on here??? do TPTB hope we'll get some kind of bloodbath on US soil so they have an excuse to "Shock and Awe" Mexico city???

I guess the question is "where is the american border" ?
Is it in Iraq, Afghanistan or in the US?
What are the US forces protecting? US land or Israeli land?

Here is a linkeypoo to the article.
washingtonexaminer.com...
And the newly elected representatives need to be informed, that along with abolishing the illegal health care act, our borders need to be secured. These criminal acts of this current socialist regime
not only need to be addressed, but the participants need to be arrested and prosecuted as well (Clintstone, Bush, Obama et al).
Or once again, they too will be voted out.

I live in El Paso and the violence hasn't spread here that much, and in the last couple of months the violence in Juarez has gone down a little bit and drug supply lines have been cut off. Probably because of the US Special Forces that I heard have been sent down there. I know people and both sides and the cartels have taken some major hits in the last couple of months

No, the John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 states that the president of the United States can take complete control of the National Guard without the governor's consent.

This is just one of the most recent attack by the Feds upon states rights:

The National Guard Mobilization Act of 1933 made it part of the Army.

The Total Force Policy of 1973 stated that all branches of the military would be treated as a single force.

These are just some on the examples of laws designed by Washington to erode the rights of American citizens.

These are just brief summaries.

The cartels,if they ever manage to pierce the border,Would anyone have a solution on how to control them and push them back. I think our only option would be war.

they already have pierced the border and currently hold an 80 mile stretch in the beunos aires national wildlife refuge, in arizona. that is where and why the signs are up.

so far, our only defense has been citizen militias.
