Quote from source:

City police have issued a Western Canada-wide warrant for a man facing sex-related charges.

He allegedly failed to disclose that he was HIV positive before engaging in sexual activity with four Calgary teens.

Apay Ogouk, 26, turned himself into Calgary police in August after warrants were issued for his arrest for similar offences that took place in Winnipeg.

Ogouk now faces one charge of sexual interference with a minor and four charges of aggravated sexual assault for incidents in Calgary. He is currently in the custody of Winnipeg police.

Ogouk was diagnosed HIV positive in May 2006, but allegedly did not tell this to the victims before having sex with them.

Police say the Calgary incidents took place over a period of time between 2007 and 2010.

The victims are 12, 15, 16 and 18 years of age. All are being tested for sexual transmitted infections. The health status of the victims cannot be disclosed for privacy reasons.

Thought I would post this as this is big in calgary right now. Just wanted to share with the ATS community.

I think this man should be charged with attempted murder, and if the people are infected, murder.

Also what is a 26 year old man doing with a 12 year old? How has rape not been brought up? Sex with a minor?

This is disgusting to say the least.

I look forward to others opinions, any thoughts?

What a disgusting pig!
He is already guilty of statutory rape.
I'm not sure extra charges will make much difference, but yeah, he deserves the harshest sentence.

I'm living with HIV in SA.
I've seen both sides of the coin.
I believe that I was infected by somebody who knew they had HIV.
However, I also didn't insist and pre-plan my safe-sex strongly enough.
I will never prove when he knew what, and here HIV is everywhere.
When I got it the politicians were denying it.

I will never infect somebody else.
But, so many HIV-negative people are so lazy and misinformed.

Let's just say that if the women were older I'd blame them too.
Would they have had sex education in your country?
Where were their parents, their teachers, their community?

I would charge him with attempted murder.

Not really sure about the intricacies of Candian justice, but yeah.

Life in prison without parole, would be my sentence.
