Sorry for the caps, but really? France denies negotiations with Osama? This radical African group are admitting to his existence-that alone is profound. How is this not massively important? 1 to 1 negotiations with the US most wanted man, tossed aside because "we don't negotiate with terrorists". Right, how honorable. Honestly I don't know what there is to say....

Paying ransoms (whether it be monetary or political) is a mugs game. They are right to say no.

Theres no shortage of potential hostages in the world.

It's probably another charade, there has been so much scepticism recently about their alleged terror scares, they might be trying to prove AQ is real. The victims? Unsuspecting innocents or agents?
