UFO in Singapore;

Came across this article containing a photo and witness description of the below UFO report.The enhancement in the photo looks strange , i suppose this needs further investigations on the sources of photo and witness,What do you guys think.

6/27/2010 - I was up on the top of the Sands Hotel taking pictures of the city and I thought I would get a picture of the Singapore Harbor before it got too dark. That is when I noticed a black dot in my picture. I zoomed in on the object and took about 5 pictures at 300mm then took a couple more with it over the harbor for comparison. I walked over to another photographer that had a larger lens and ask him to see if he could get closer. He told me that it was a UFO and he has a bunch of pictures of them and sees them all the time. This photo is at 200mm and the insert is at 400 times view at 300mm. I turned to get a few more pictures of it and it was gone.

It's a typical C2C blurry photo. We need the actual, original photo to make any sort of determinations. The thing in the "box" isn't necessarily what it looked like in the original photo. In short, we must conclude it's a fake unless we see the original.

Would be interesting to get the full resolution image. I tried zooming in on the spec in Photoshop and don't seem to be able to replicate that zoomed result however that could be to do with the image being shrunk for use on the web.

Could be anything..A plastic bag caught in the wind even..
Without knowing any details, size,movement etc, couldn't say..

At least it's not just a few random dots of light or (probably not) a blurred bird. And it's not your average saucer, either. Again, it's hard to tell if it might not be a kite of some kind. The thing with stuff like this is that if it doesn't do anything particularly "alien" then all the usual suspects are possible until proven otherwise. And this doesn't prove anything otherwise.

Interesting, but ultimately just a curiosity.

Thank you to everyone who have replied to this thread. Was thinking if there was anyway of contacting this witness who took this photo to get the original, checked MUFON but no sign of a report by this witness.Could be a long shot i know but would be interesting if this witness was tracked down.

A few black bumps don't tell us much but that seems to be the UFO signature now.

Well, there is something there in the sky, but it is hard to evaluate exactly what.. Bummer.. There has to be someone somewhere that has a credible photo of these craft whether they be extraterrestrial or man made experimental craft.
There is an obvious greenish glowing to the underside of the anomaly, could be a propulsion system, but it it could also be some sort of shutter imperfection as well, not a Film/camera buff.
Thanks for sharing, would be interesting if there turned out to be other photos from the same vicinity by other individuals. Then a hard core analysis could be initiated.

As soon as I saw the picture the shape reminded me of a F 16. The original image is the best place to start because the blow up is too blurred . With the original you can make out what I think looks like a wing tip.

Right clicked on this witneses link i was given and these are his pictures in a better resolution, clearley there is a object there, this is a strange one indeed, here are the pictures below;

You could be right, looking at all the other better resolution pictures it seems this could be the source of this object, mind you would be interesting to hear if this witness heard any sound, i imagine if this was indeed a F15 or something similar than at that distance would any sound from it be audible.

Yes you could be right looks more like the object than the F16 I put forward. Beautiful plane .

Hello, I was online and was doing a search and found the photo I took above in this blog. I can tell you that I took a ton of photos over 30 min time frame and it never moved. I kept looking up and there it was. I have time stamps on all of my photos and the RAW images. I was on the top of the sands tower and it is above me over the water. No idea what it may be and that is why I submitted it. If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

It would certainly be interesting if you would provide us with one of your raw inages to take a closer look at. Maybe you could tell us a little about the camera, setting and lens used as well?

I am guessing, from your website, you know a bit about photography?

Out of curiosity, have you tried enhancing any of the photos yourself?
