Star Wars....of course.

I'd post a trailer, but really? Who HASN'T seen it?

I heard they were doing a remake of Logan's Run for a while, but never seemed to materialize. Loved that movie (and man, did that gal have some stems....)

I never really thought him to play a character like that, but he played it almost too well... really creepy

There are so many great sci-fi movies but the two classics that standout to me are:

2001 A Space Odyssey

I've gotta go with the original "The Day The Earth Stood Still".

First is all things Godzilla. The original 1950's stuff not the recent crappy knock off. They were so hokey that they were funny. The original was Godzilla, King of the Monsters (1954).

Second was the The Lost Missile (1958). Also hokey in the genre that only the atom bomb can save mankind.

Last but not least. The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951). The 1951 version not the recent crappy knock off.

I just like most of the hokey movies of the 1950's because they had to do effects the hard way.

If I pick something more recent it would be The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai (1984).

Particularly like Lord Whorfin.
