The Mayor Of London On George W. Bush, War Criminal

andrewsullivan.theatlantic.co m

Boris Johnson is a total Tory and an old friend from college days. In a piece in the conservative Daily Telegraph, he advises George W. Bush not to bring his book tour to Britain, because he could face arrest as a war criminal:

Interesting news...this is what people have been warning about in few threads. Bush may be arrested for accepting he gave order to torture (waterboard).

Is waterboarding torture..who can better answer this than Mancow a conservative talk show host who underwent waterboarding to prove it wasn't torture. What happened:

Let's even forget about waterboarding for a sec..who is responsible for rape of childrens while they were being filmed by CIA/ Pentagon sleuths?

Some of the worst things that happened you don't know about, okay? Videos, um, there are women there. Some of you may have read that they were passing letters out, communications out to their men. This is at Abu Ghraib ... The women were passing messages out saying 'Please come and kill me, because of what's happened' and basically what happened is that those women who were arrested with young boys, children in cases that have been recorded. The boys were sodomized with the cameras rolling. And the worst above all of that is the soundtrack of the boys shrieking that your government has. They are in total terror. It's going to come out."

Hersh: children raped at Abu Ghraib, Pentagon has videos
When will Bush accept he gave orders to do this as well?

Couldnt agree more with Boris on this one, which is rare, because he is an upper class twit, and Im a down to Earth sort of a chap. But that aside, absolutely agree with him. Bush is a bloody thug, with all the moral fortitude of a cat vomit sandwhich served to a nun. If he does come to Britain, I hope very much that he is arrested the moment he gets off the plane, and held under the terror laws without charge for the maximum time allowed, before being charged with crimes against humanity, and thrown in jail until his trial, and then hopefully for a long time after that.
I would advocate a similar fate for that tanned media whore we used to call a prime minister, Tony "Hand in Hand with Satan" Blair, who lied and whined and wangled our parliment into a position of going to war illegaly, and turning a blind eye to torture. Both he and Bush are cut from the same self serving , freedom hating cloth, and I hope they both burn in hell for it.

While the British are certainly complicit in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, they have recently paid out millions of pounds to former inmates at Guantanamo Bay who were tortured in violation of their rights.

While Bush and Company created the never legally upheld "Enemy Combatant" to strip "Detainees" of U.S. Constitutional Privleges, and protections under the Geneva Convention this discinction has never been accepted by International Treaty or Convention.

So England has to basically pay millions of pounds now, to their citizens who were illegally kidnapped and detained by U.S. Authorities and held and tortured in U.S. Facilties in violation of International Law and treaties, for the British Government's failure to protect their rights from U.S. Personnel acting on Bush and Company's illegal orders.

It is in fact something Bush could be prosecuted for, and is a legitimate complaint and charge.

Lord Mayor Johnson, you have found the words to accurately describe a man that many Americans have come despise:

George W. Bush is not [sic] a conservative, merely a thug, twisting the law to engage in something utterly alien to Anglo-American ideals. And a smug thug at that. Watching his interview on Hannity - yes, I managed to get through most of it - I was reminded of this man's utter shallowness and moral unseriousness. Glib doesn't begin to describe his solipsistic denial of his own barbarism.

Wait a second...are people still discussing George Bush? Seriously? The man has been out of office for two years now....move on for crying out loud!

Perhaps we should be discussing the newest "criminal" sitting as President in America. Bush may have made some bad decisions, but in my personal opinion he acted on what he thought was best for this country, whether that be right or wrong. On the other hand, we have a President now who is actively participating in the destruction of the United States.

Bush is irrelevant...and so are discussions about him.

What?? Bush was only 2 years ago and his actions are still visible today...
Forget him after 2 years? Should we just accept the OS of 9/11 just because it was 9 years ago??

There's nothing to forget, the Mayor of London has just told Bush not to visit London as he may not see Texas ever again.

Ridiculous claims about Bush being a war criminal or being arrested as such are nothing new. We've been hearing them for almost a decade now.

It's garbage in my opinion.

...if thats how you feel, then dont participate in discussions about him - simple...

...he is (a very recent) part of our history, therefore he most certainly is relevant - just like andrew jackson's genocidal behavior is still relevant - just like thomas jefferson's habit of mating with his female black slaves is still relevant...

...all were willing puppets and that can NEVER be said enough, considering the unrelenting propaganda pushed to glorify scum...

Wow, the Bush family starting with Prescott has been up to their eyeballs in everything from Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, to 9-11. Papa Bush is without a doubt one of the strategic brains behind the logistical implementation of the New World Order, and with Jeb still in play, and a younger generation of Bush Family reaching political age and being groomed, taking your eye off anyone in that family, is like taking your eye off a rattle snake sharing a nature trail with you.
