Florida Politicans seek to overthrow voter approved anti-Gerrymandering amendment

In Florida, voters overwhelmingly approved an amendment to the state Constitution that would require congrssional districts to be compact and to not favor any political party. Now, our elected "officials" are fighting to have this implemented at every turn.

This will get to be big news next year when state legislature's start chopping up districts. In this hyper-partisan country now I can't even begin to imagine what's going to happen.

It will be interesting to note the lay of the land after the dust settles, my money's on republicans sweeping districts all across the country.
