i have had an ex read my mail...take over my hotmail account and sent out messages and pretended to be me on my msn....and it was over an innocent conversation with a person who was terminally ill with cancer...

I hear ya.
I had a 'ex' go into my account and while I was overseas contact a business I was applying to.
His irrational behavior cost me the dough I spent to get 'bonded'.
His response? 'I didn't want to loose you'...
He lost.

Thanks for your responce. Great info in that.

I have to add now though, I'm surprised at the number of people who would never ‘go there’...
I dunno, either the sneaky-pete’s are avoiding this thread, or people are not being totally honest.
I mean we’re not just talking porn here (despite the tabloid title to the thread).
We’re talking checking into online banking...chat...emails...etc...
I dunno, I’d like to think ATS is full of ‘angels’ but I’m having my doubts here.

I could never really figure out why woman are so intimidated by porn.My husband and I watch and read porn together as a means to spice things up.Its a nice bedroom tool to use together. It takes no love away from husband and even though those girls in the magazine are well a lot hotter than me, my husband still finds me damn sexy. Its human nature to wanna look at other people. This porn stik is gonna break up alot relationships. For all you prudes, suck it up and buy your man a playboy.Trust me he'll thank you and think your so much sexxier then his fake woman he's looking at.

My two cents:

If I caught any partner of mine probing my computer with a spy stick, its game over from them. Snooping on a mate is more serious than dabbling in a little porn or conversation in my books. Not only is it a lack of respect, but it cuts at the heart of the program of honesty, integrity, communication, and trust! The four basic and important fundamental laws of any relationship.

In my opinion, the relationship is already over it has come to this. How about if we men put a bug in your purse?
Get real...

I think some of it may be down to the ''what you don't know, won't hurt you'' mentality.

The option of trusting your boyfriend or girlfriend, without question, may be preferable to the potential alternative; ie. having a sneaky peak, and finding something that you didn't want to see.

I would use this to consolidate my porn, its hard trying to remember where I hid it all.

I love this answer!!!!

Personally, I surf porn all the time even though my wife is gorgeous and sexy and we have a healthy sexual life. She knows all about it and doesn't care. When she uses the computer, I don't check to see where she's been (she's not computer savvy, so I could find everything out in a few minutes).

I think that if you're at the point where you feel you need a device like this, your relationship is on shaky ground at best. The best thing you can do for yourself in this situation is walk out of the relationship. Whether you find something or not is irrelevant. To feel you have to look is lack of trust. If you can't trust your partner, your relationship is doomed.

And, yes, it is much better to walk out of a 15 year relationship, even when kids are involved, than to hold on to someone you don't trust. Holding on will hurt you much more in the end. Even in a relationship, even with kids, you have to come first. If you're not in good shape, you're not in a good shape to help the others around you.

Haha!! I think the roles are reversed in my household. He hates porn. It doesnt interest him at all and He gets a little insecure if He finds I'm looking at it. I def dont hide it, 'course I dont think it's a big deal either.
I can understand why some women get insecure when their husbands watch porn tho. First off, those porn girls are dirrrrty...lol..not all women are into certain things so it makes them feel lacking in some way if theyre not. My sis is having trouble with her husband on this topic. The problem lies when it's easier to watch porn than it is being with ur wife. They fight a good deal over it. It's crazy. He hides it, she finds it, he hides it somewhere else. It's taking a toll on their marriage bcuz he's not putting in the effort with her. I understand why a woman would have some insecurities over it.
So no, not something I would do. I'd like to think Id have a better grip on myself than that.

I have/had? a friend who tracked his ladyfriends car via a GPS navigational application programming interface or api designed for the user to control the program via remote control 'viewing'. I understand the software can be licensed for good or bad ends as well as hacked to sack the privacy of the victim. Smart cards are a brilliant solution to the wrong problems. Big brother has become much too large for his own britches. Skid marks as in briefs or windage as in britches, freedom fits all less one has something to hide from it's tide.

Fortunately or unfortuneatly, love knows no boundaries.
One can't love another till they learn to love themself.
Fortunately, one can nudge another in their right direction.
One's tree is evident by it's fruit.
One's fruition will bear as judge upon the judged.

It is perplexing to see how many people are horrified to think that they would be accused of peeping on their spouses, yet find nothing wrong with their spouses looking at graphic images and videos to get off.

I don't think I am of this world, truly. I am married, and definitely no prude, but I would rather be single then try to compete with these horrific mutated ideals of women that are portrayed in porn. I have so much more to do with my life, so much to learn and experience. I thought humanity had evolved more than this at this stage, but apparently they are regressing instead.

Sad.

For a long time, I had been suspicious that "something was going on" with my husband.

I'd never snooped through his computer before... I never had any reason to.

But one night I came home and he was asleep, so I looked through his emails.

And well...I was right!

I think people have to do what people have to do.

To be lied to and cheated on isn't a good thing.

He should have been better than that. And he pretended he was.

I'm glad I know better now.

To be lied to and cheated on isn't a good thing.

Thanks for having the courage to post the real deal.
And that's what I was wondering about ‘cause it poses a real 'dog chasing the tail' problem.

If he/she is cheating, it's better to know - they're already lying to you and being losers.

BUT - if you check up on them? What does that make you? Someone who has an idea something is going on and wants to know the answer? Or an equal partner in being underhanded?

And no, I'm NOT saying you were underhanded. You had your suspicions and you found out. More power to you.

I'm posing a 'dilemma question' is all.

Hope you're ok now and better off without that loser!
HUGS!

I'm more curious about how it works more than anything, how would it differentiate between a regular image/video with a pornographic one... name maybe ? If thats the case I don't think it would be that accurate since most of the porn I downloaded didn't have an explicit file name.

Imo whether it's morally wrong or not depends on how long you been with your partner, type of relationship, etc
If you have only been with your partner for short amount of time it would be wrong to invade their privacy like that unless you made some kind of agreement.

Oh, the irony. Naming something the "Porn Stick", which is supposed catch perverts, is kind of ironic. Dontcha think?

It was probably created by a pervert.

I'm totally against this kind of thing being marketed towards couples trying to spy on each other. It's an invasion of privacy, and if you can't trust the person you're with you either shouldn't be in a relationship with that person or you should work on whatever personal issues you have that prevent you from trusting people.

This is being pushed towards people with the intention of spying on each other rather than working out legitimate issues, and it's wrong. So many people don't know how to have proper relationships as it is, and this certainly isn't helping.

Hey, I agree with you all the way, but remember, it's also being marketed for 'keeping your children safe.'
Figures how they'll always twist something into being good for you in order to make a buck and spy on you in the process.

Thanks, great points!

So, I'm curious, you people with partners - Is trust enough or would you use this ‘Porn Stick’ (‘Chat/Instant Message Stick’) on your partner’s computer to find out just what your mates really been ‘up to’?

peace

If you find it necessary to check, the "trust" is obviously not there so you might as well hang up the towel because that environment is a guaranteed car crash in the future, IMO.

Flesh is skin deep though makes a nice canvas Of a/thE Creator.
