Having your security clearance suspended because you told the 9/11 Commission that operation Able Danger had info on Mohammad Atta and they could have prevented 9/11: priceless.

For less than $300, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer had his national security clearance suspended, however, as he said in his own words, it was, according to Congressman Weldon's chief of staff, because Shaffer disclosed the existence of Able Danger to the 9/11 Commission.

This is the kind of corrupt country we live in. An agent with top secret clearance tells the 9/11 commission of an operation that could have prevented 9/11, and rather than firing any of the number of incompetents that let 9/11 happen, Shaffer is instead punished.

Also, Shaffer found out in 2003 that the Pakistan ISI was collaborating with the Taliban, something that was just recently disclosed this year (www.bbc.co.uk... this BBC news story was published in 2010, 7 years after Shaffer knew of this information).

When Shaffer told General Barno they had caught a female ISI operative participating with the Taliban, proven through the analysis of (redacted by DoD), the general said he didn't care. He then told Shaffer to give Pakistan this information regardless. Later, when Pakistan was about to raid the location concerning this knowledge, the Taliban somehow was able to get away.

We knew a long time ago that the ISI gave Mohammad Atta a 100,000 dollar wire transfer. It seems clear that the CIA, ISI, and Mossad were all working together to pull off 9/11. If this was an undercover assignment, were they trying to prevent it or to help it to happen? Either way, they failed to prevent it, and Shaffer (among other sources) proves that the government did have prior knowledge of 9/11.

Note: this thread could also be moved to the 9/11 conspiracy forum. It sort of fits in with US political madness, war on terrorism, and 9/11, so just move it whereever it most makes sense.

I was under the impression that Shaffer stole some pens.

Anything that brings Shaffer's story and the vital information he uncovered needs all the attention it can get.

Shaffer got shafted, He is a good soldier and citizen.

the banksters get rewarded. People like Chertoff get special positions and the real American patriots get their clearance removed. This should be a wake up call to anyone teetering on the edge of the 9/11 debate.

And there's also Chertoff's connection to the TSA contracts, which were awarded to Rapiscan. Guess who represents Rapiscan?

The following is an exerpt from an article on the InfoWars website:

www.infowars.com...

In 2005 Chertoff ordered the first purchase of five of these scanners from Rapiscan and then 40 machines were used at 29 US airports without testing. In 2010 TSA obtained another 150 machines at the direction of Chertoff and Associates that consults with the government’s Homeland Security to obtain more scanners and up to 300 will be purchased. Rapiscan is the only company that received the contract and Rapiscan are indeed Chertoff’s clients.

John Tyner is just one man who represents the majority and from all parties Democrats, Republicans and Independents are clearly pissed off at this government. Other critics agree that the TSA is being heavy handed on purpose and make the groping so intolerable that people will demand the scanning x-ray instead which profits the security scammer Michael Chertoff.

The taxpayer, that would be you is paying the government to buy scanners from an ex-government official who turned himself into the only authority on security and who benefits financially not only from fear but his business and clients profit nicely in conning and abusing the American public’s trust.

End quote.

The case against Schaffer is a total farce and a blatant act of intimidation and suppression of truth.

Just look up the publisher of his book "Dark Heart" I think is the title. They are usually glad to forward mail to their authors. Let me know if you get through - I'd like to do the same.

Yeah,,, maybe there was another less volatile way?

But then how were we going to open up the pipelines and mines for China? And India?

Resourced based currency requires access to resources.

We have Trillions in DEBT now. We figured the 2.3 Trillion announced missing on 9/10,all the other
debts, plus the cost of Iraq/Afghanistan would all be balanced out if we paved the way for resource access.

Evidently something went wrong? Maybe the game isn't over yet. We still might have an ace in the hole. But if not, it is better to fold now and wait for a winning hand.

It appears certain that there was a lack of communication between Agencies at that time. Also an
individual quest for power, existence, and government funding by the Agencies. The race for the
above mentioned resulted in a complete failure of National Security. Were there certain factions who
new? Possibly and likely. Were there those who were too preoccupied to realize the seriousness of the threat? Most likely. Were there those who deliberately allowed these events to happen to forward an
Agenda? Most troublesome to even consider.

Would I justify this treasonous attitude if this was the case? Certainly not.

Just to clarify my stance.... Important discussion none the less.

Well you see it's a testicle thing you guys. Only those of sufficient rank are allowed to know things. The mistake this guy made was to perhaps use the wrongs words or skip a link in his chain of command. Either of these two can be fatal because of the frail male egos that so easily bruise.

We need gay guys to work in intel. They can get bitchy sometimes but they usually don't care about competing with each other for brownie points.

It's called fraud. And you can get your clearance suspended/revoked because of it. Is it petty, yes, IMO.

Also, Shaffer found out in 2003 that the Pakistan ISI was collaborating with the Taliban, something that was just recently disclosed this year (www.bbc.co.uk... this BBC news story was published in 2010, 7 years after Shaffer knew of this information).

Read Stephen Coll's book "Ghost Wars" , it goes into detail about ISI support and collaboration to the Taliban when the movement first started in the early 90's. It's an excellent read, about 800 pages long.
