With all the houses going up on the market...I don't see how you could call it a minority but I guess that depends on where you live.

Anyhoo....All I'm saying is that she deserves a shot and with the "right" people surrounding her she can't do no worst that any other president. Besides I don't think that the American people would blindly give it all to her.....I don't think she'd get the senate so....she's have to either work hard to pass new legislation or veto everything and we know that the second choice is not a real option so....

Oh...Have I mentioned that I'm completely unbiased here...I am Canadian after all....LOL

The simple fact that the left siding MSN continue to hound her and follow her EVERY move is proof positve they think she can beat him too.

If she really was the putz they attempt to make her out be they wouldn't print a word.

Fear. It is amzing to watch.

Actually it's exgov Palin putting herself in the limelight at every opportunity. She is a media whore and loves the spotlight and attention the MSN gives her. She has a staff of A&R people promoting every move she makes to the media.

She is a beautiful, controversial media darling capitalizing on her 15 min. of fame the same as any famous wannabe, like Paris Hilton, Hanna Montana etc. It's just business as usual. And her fans love it because they are the targeted demographic. Selling conservatism the same way they sell Viagra, gold, and depends to basically the same audience. She is a viable commodity and her corporation is going to milk it for all it worth.
I don't expect you to understand this but it might give you some insight into who Palin really is. www.textmap.com...

Anyone with some savy and knowledge of how Madison Ave/advertising operates can see thru her transparent operation.

Apparently you are a fan and take it at face value. I'm not to surprised

FEAR, not really!.

I'll make my comments here short and sweet... like Sarah! LOL

1. being aggressive and being intelligent are not the same thing. Mrs. Palin knows she is hot, and is willing to bite you in the tender parts to forward her policies.

2. Being loud and pithy in no way makes the dialogue deep and meaningful. Case in point, her argument style has rubbed off on Bristol and Willow - google their FB dialogue with someone who didn't like DWTS. Its the exact same thing - say something that is not in line and they swarm on you like wolves on a deer. C'mon, is a mass Palin family attack on some kids in a FB discussion really needed?

3. Just because people fantasize about her in the sack in no way translates into being electable. I'm sure there are a million Democrats who fantasize about having angry sex with her....

"Sarah Palin Says She Could Beat Obama"

Right now, I could beat Obama.
- from another member

Hehe...probably a true statement...

Of course, if Tina Fey makes a lot of SNL appearances as her, forget it... Between that and the Katie Couric interview, she was pretty much roasted last time.

People think Mitt Romney would get the nomination? That guy's over 70, isn't he? I think he was born the same year the Roswell crash happened! The Presidential election is all about a cult of personality, especially these days. Just look at the last couple of elections to see it. Palin would have a real shot in 2012 I think. Younger Presidents are the trend....not older.

A lot can happen in a couple of years though, so will be a real wait and see...

I'm sure there are a million Democrats who fantasize about having angry sex with her....

Hehe, this just made me chuckle...

(As for DWTS, no, Bristol cannot dance. She's improved a lot, but she's not near the caliber as those who've been voted off. It's a travesty she's in the finals, and will be an even bigger one if she (gasp!) wins)....

So, she is using the tricks of the trade that exist to defeat her opponents, with the Madison Ave stuff.

Sounds to me like this dummy from Alaska is pretty smart and that is why she is doing so well-in all areas, except for the MSM. Hmmm, go figure.

Maybe it is time some of you take off your glasses that seem to paint anyone liking Palin as wrong. Maybe the problem is you and not her.

Time will tell.

Besides, I think you guys like beating up on a girl. Probably stems back to your elementry days.

But, no worry, keep on voting Dem-and see where that gets you next election. As I say often, I can't believe there are still some people out there that think the USA got a better deal with Obama/Biden-with all that we know now. Gonna be a fun two years.

You go girl. It will be my pleasure to vote for her again.

Edit to add: here is my basic thoughts on Palin. I don't have time to do it again. Here it link I posted at. My post is near the bottom of the page. I think that sums up my way of seeing her.

Romney is 63. IMO he is the Republicans best and currently only chance of beating Obama. Which is why I hope he doesn't get the nomination

I hope Palin does get the nomination...not only because Obama will be re-elected easily...but also because of the pure comedy that is Palin.

"All those houses going up on the market" are still a minority of total real estate in the US

Check out vacancy rates for offices/residential at various cities and you'll realize it's too high, but nowhere you could call it a "majority" (not even close). Sadly it still represents a large enough number to crush the economy.

To give you a metaphor: The element in your blood that ensures you don't bleed to death when you cut yourself only represents 2-3% of your blood. However, if you don't have it for some reason, you are at danger of bleeding to death every time you cut yourself.

It's the same with the economy...everything is connected. Let people mess up one crucial part (or country), and everyone suffers. That is...unless you put some safety guards in place. Sadly those safety guards were systematically broken down since Reagan.

It just hearts to hear Palin talk about the economy because it's so evident she has not the slightest clue about economics...unless when it comes to marketing herself and making $$$

Beat Obama, I doubt it. I do give the citizens of America more credit than that. Granted they are enamoured and curious by the novelty of her character but I truly belive they would vote her down the same way Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell were.

Inasmuch as she'd make a great President of the 4H club, the office of POTUS requires a modicum of intelligence and fluency in world affairs, politics on a global scale and geography helps a bit too. Yes she's got a "nice swing in her backyard" but the leadership of our country requires savvy over sexy.

Granted she's handy around the farm but I seriously doubt she could even pass the American Citizenship test. Now let's see, what are the 3 Branches of Government again?

I'm sure she'll make a perfect pawn for corporate greed and political financial agendas just like any other president... Red, Blue. Same thing. I guess if they keep giving grants to the media to exclusively promote them... they'll get the votes.

I've played both of their silly games for long enough.

It's not that they'd be voting FOR Palin, as much as it would be AGAINST Obama.

The mid-term elections said it all...the people are NOT happy, and went GOP almost all the way....(and I'm an Independent, so no agenda here)...

Romney is 63

That'll teach me to do math prior to posting, hehe... I was right about his birth year though.

She probably could beat Obama. Then again just about anyone running against him can at this point.
I like Sarah Palin. She seems to be a good person and she is a pleasure to look at. I don't think she is Presidential material though.

Obama couldn't run a lemonade stand. But if he did, he'd run it into the ground. Amazing how a anyone would consider a doosh like the Kenyan intellegent, as opposed to a successful business person, successful governer, and someone who doesn't live with their mother in law. But hey, that guy knows marxism better than anyone in DC. So I'll give you that. Truthfully though, obama couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c and the a. Nice job on that trade agreement with s. korea. He sure showed those guys.
But seriously, I admire the way he's whacked the deficit down to 1,400,000,000.00 from er....200 billion? OK scratch that. But really, he did knock my med premium way down. Look. here's my invoice now. See, its gone way.............Scratch that. Hey, How many zeroes in a bazillion?
But he must be qualified to be president, because he spent years organizing protests at banks, and you know how intellegent you have to be to make a witty slogan sign. You know....."Down with banks!" "Down with people who have checking accounts".

Just so you know. Sarah Palin never said she could see Russia from her backyard. That line was taken from a SNL skit with Tina Fey playing the Palin part.

Oh the irony

Obama wasn't successful in Asia because he's got practically no leverage when it comes to economy. Yeah the situation in the US is pretty horrible right now...but you can't just blame it on Obama. A large part of the spending is defence (more like offense) spending through useless wars which he didn't start, and the downfall of the economy also isn't to blame on him. If anything, you could argue he's weak at regulating the finance industry more to prevent such catastrophes in the future...but he's just like any president since Reagan by letting business deregulate themselves to the point where they're able to screw all of us.

Palin just wants more of that deregulation...so no thx, enough of that.

YES, YES, YES! That is what they all want, to know and understand, that way you can out think and plot against and finally out maneuver and embarrass or conquer.

Here is something from an article sent to me. She's refreshingly upbeat and resilient, the bubbly friend from childhood who was always great at cheering you up and cheerleading you on.
But for her detractors, nothing raises the ire of cynical liberals more than a happy-go-lucky, totally unburdened, freethinking and self-assured conservative woman who has everything she wants and then some. And without anyone's help.

Sure, she'll tell you that Todd, her parents and her children are an invaluable support system. But after eight years of hearing that George W. Bush was a nepotism experiment gone wrong, Sarah Palin has made it here (wherever this is) on her own. John McCain's imprimatur certainly launched her into the national spotlight, but she became the youngest and first female governor of Alaska all on her own.
How dare she?

Liberalism, after all, needs to imagine an unhappy populace. Passing sweeping entitlement programs and convincing voters that big government is the answer only works if people are frustrated with their stations in life.

How would Sarah Palin do anything any differently that Obama? This is a woman that knew nothing of the political and religiousl upheaval in the Middle East, has a son in the military and sees nothing wrong with our soldiers being over in Afghanistan and probably thinks the US invaded Iraq to "kill those A-RABS!" I'm sorry, but she turns my stomach and I wouldn't want to see someone like her leading this country. What down home values would she bring to the table? Shooting wolves from a helicopter? She says family comes first, but Todd has mainly raised those children. She QUIT her position as Governor and from what I've read, didn't enjoy it anyway. Has she come up with any viable solutions to our economic woes this country is faced with or has the thought ever entered her mind? A free thinker? I think not.
