My guess is that as soon as you tried to ticket me, I'd tell you to stuff that ticket where the sun doesn't shine.

At which point, you would then pull out your gun and threaten violence against me.

The horror.

Someone might drink a lot and get drunk.

Jesus Christ, someone call the military.

We need a full nuclear strike against Joose production plants immediately.

Do you think that anyone should be able to purchase anything without restriction?
As example, bombs, guns, drugs, etc..?
Do you think there should be no legal restrictions at all?

Do you understand the difference between drugs and weapons?

I don't see any difference.

If someone wants to buy a machine gun or blow up their own car with a bomb, why should the government stop them?

The only time government should get involved (if we must have a coercively funded government, which I reject) is when people harm or threaten others by their actions.

Owning and shooting a machine gun harms no one.

Blowing up your own car harms no one.

Banning guns is about as effective as banning drugs - and accomplishes the same things.

So just to recap:
You think all drugs should be legalized for ANYONE to use.
All weapons of any kind should be legal.
Hey what could happen???????

He was directing that question at you.

I did however take the liberty of adding my own response.

And a lot of innocent people ultimately would be dead.
You must be republican.

Can't answer the questions???
Just curious

Banning drugs or a combination of drugs is immoral and ridiculous.

Banning bombs is more of a debatable subject...

A lot of innocent people die today because drugs are illegal.

In fact most homicides are gang related and involve drugs or alcohol.

You have to demonstrate that legalizing drugs would increase deaths, because to my understanding of the facts, the amount of deaths would be greatly decreased by legalizing drugs.

Same goes for guns.

Of course, the whole notion that you can ban me from consuming something is utterly ridiculous, because to do so you must claim ownership over my body.

The reality is that some centralized regulation is needed or anyone could put anything in anything you eat and/or drink and make whatever claims they like about it. They could put toxins in food, improperly process foods, etc...
Time to grow up and think a bit instead of making violent threats. You kids nowadays

Unless they plan on enforcing this all the way, with home searches, arrests, bar raids, armed FDA troops, etc... I see absolutely no point at all.

Reread the OP - they're banning it for sale. No home searches necessary.

I think banning bombs would make for a fun debate.

I used to blow crap up with soda bottle bombs when I was a kid. I love explosives, guns, and all that jazz. There's nothing cooler than watching a huge explosion hahah.

Of course, I have never harmed anyone by my actions.

Banning bombs doesn't actually accomplish anything.

It must be repeated that bans never prevent anything.

Laws can only punish, never prevent.

Well we can solve this problem by simply dissolving all laws.
Problem solved right?
Sounds like a great idea to me

No, we must have laws that protect people like me from people like you.

People who want to use force to get their way rather than voluntary cooperation.

People who want to loot others at the point of a government gun.

People who want to create victimless laws to cartelize industry.

I need legal protection from people like you.

The fact that you will face punishment is a arguably a deterrent to some crimes.

Move to Somalia if you want total freedom, let me know how that works out.

It is not a deterrent when the people involved in the behavior are voluntary actors.

You know why the police can never stamp out prostitution?

Because the prostitutes and the johns both want what the other has.

Victimless crime can never be deterred.

Yes I agree !
Companies should be able to put anything they want into the products we consume without any type of restrictions or safety regulation. Those safety regulations just get in the way of our happiness and our rights !
