Of course it is child pornography! That is what the government is doing to our children by forcing children 12 and up to be "felt up" at airports if they don't want to allow their bodies to be pummeled with radiation!

I travel multiple times a month. This doesn't bother me one bit. So what, have you ever ridden in a subway in NY during rush hour?

Get over it. There is no other motive here other than to protect us.

I'm with you on this one. You choose to fly, you accept that before you board the enclosed space that is undeniably a target for terrorism, you will have to abide by the procedures that will occur that allows you to board, that being body searches.

I can imagine the civil rights brigade's response to a terrorist attack on an airliner that one of their family members was on, that hadn't followed protocol and searched the passengers beforehand. Mass outrage? I think so. As and when it suits springs to mind...

If you don't want to be subjected to a 'humiliating' or 'violation of my civil rights' search before your flight, choose another method of travel, end of.

Spread what fear, it's reality! I don't fear dying but I am a dad and I will do whatever it takes to protect my daughter from harm whether it's a black us plot to kill citizens in the name of Islam or if it's Islam killing in the name of Islam. I could care less. Having my body scanned by a scanner does not really bother me and in the 10 times I've flown recently I've only been in that line once, and the girl smiled at me afterwards! The people who work there have to touch others also, like people who don't shower much or have the best hygiene if you know what I mean. I wouldn't want that job.
To say it bluntly, planes are being used to do bad things. The ones behind it do not care who you are. So if you want to fly with all your rights intact they should have an airline that you can walk up to and pay cash, no ID's, nothing. Get on the plane with unblemished freedom and see where it is you end up.

In a word - sweet.

You got it Man, your head is clearly not wedged up your sphincter but having a good look around at the real world we're living in today.

Get with the program folks, terrorism exists and terrorists are real. Life is for living, not complaining, start doing it and stop worrying about the things you just can't control. If you need any proof, just check out how many of your boys and girls have lost their lives trying to protect you.

You're still not getting it my friend. The terrorist's ultimate goal is to terrorize. In your case, I'm afraid they've won.

Actually 'my friend', the terrorist's goal is to disrupt, destroy and dibilitate. By standing in line and getting searched, I'm pretty sure that none of the above apply to how that makes me feel.

Do you wear a seatbelt when you drive? Probably. Why? Besides it being illegal not to, we do it for protection. And if you don't, that's probably because you've never seen the aftermath of a driver who's gone through his/her windscreen following an impact.

Seeing or being affected by the consequences of a preventative measure not taken is enough to make me want to take that caution and not complain about it but thank the people who provided that protection for me.

I am going to fly to a wedding in the spring. If you see a blurb on the news about some crazy woman attacking airport security... they singled me out for the pat-down.

Someone other than my husband tries to touch my breast or crotch, they will draw back a nub! (or severely scratched hands. I have nails and know how to use them!)

Please, don't flatter yourself.

You do realize you have more of a chance of dying of a bee sting than being blown up by a terrorist. This is mass madness. Think how many people die in car crashes everyday. This is not about finding a bomb or anything on anyone. This is all about domination and control. Mind games to get people used to living in the police state they want to set up in America. If someone wants to sneak a bomb onto a plane this pat down procedure will not find nor stop it.

Coming in an Airport Near you!!!

I think Hitler would be proud because a society that gives up rights because of fear is a easy to control society.

If someone wants to do something bad, there are a ton of ways of spreading terror (heck some fear mongers and predictions here on ATS do it every month!)

I find it incredible that the most powerful mation in the world with nuclear capability to nuke anyone on earth in minutes, can make better policies to make sure noone will try to pull a fast one under their watch... hence its just more control and fear to keep masses of people in terror without making anything else.

Hmm..

TSA:

- Disrupts and disturbs your life and loved ones.
- Destroys and trivializes your constitutional rights
- Debilitates your mental reasoning and logical thinking to twist some sort of coping mechanism.

The labyrinthine world of doublethink. To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them

The terrorists most definitely have won.

Check it out:

First, they came for the box cutters. And I didn't say anything because I don't cut boxes. Then, they came for the bottles of shampoo, and I didn't say anything because I don't wash my hair. Now, they are coming for my junk, and I can't say anything because they've got me by the balls.

Sorry but that is BS.

They aren't groping peoples private parts to protect anyone, they are doing it to get us to submit more, and more, and finally to get us to the slaughterhouse...

Seriously, allowing the TSA to grope our private parts is going to make us safer?....

Terrorist will find new ways... Heck they can have somebody in the inside, and once they go through with the scanners, their contact inside the airport gives them whatever they need...

How the heck does that protect us?...

It doesn't....

We are systematically being conditioned to believe, like you do, that we have to give up our rights in order to be safe. But guess what?....

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin.

I guess Benjamin Franklin must have been a terrorist....

Not to mention that one of the many reasons for the American revolution/war for independence was because settlers in the New World were being taxed to dead, not to mention that their rights were being trample exactly as it is happening now.

These idiots have gone so far that they even released documents to police departments across the U.S. saying Americans are "rightwing extremists" if...

Thompson added, “Janet Napolitano is lying to the American people when she says the Report is not based on ideology or political beliefs. In fact, her report would have the admiration of any current or past dictator in the way it targets political opponents.”

The Report specifically mentions the following political beliefs that law enforcement should use to determine whether someone is a “rightwing extremist”:

* Opposes restrictions on firearms

* Opposes lax immigration

* Opposes the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs

* Opposes continuation of free trade agreements

* Opposes same-sex marriage

* Has paranoia of foreign regimes

* Fear of Communist regimes

* Opposes one world government

* Bemoans the decline of U.S. stature in the world.

* Upset with loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India

* . . . and the list goes on

my.auburnjournal.com...

Even "returning veterans" are viewed as "possible extremists" according to the witch Janet Napolitano and the DHS, and if you dare be against Communism, or are against any policy that Obama the saviour wants to introduce you are a "rightwing extremist" and "possible terrorist"...

But hey, they are doing it to protect us, and protect our rights right?...

I was wondering if it's possible to set something up at the airport where you choose who you want to search/frisk you? Kinda like when you walk into a brothel, there are about 20 ladies to choose from, and you get your pick?

Why the hell are people referring to their private parts as junk anyway?
Is this the latest 'scum-word' that's somehow now the 'buzz-word' for being with the 'in' crowd?

Plus, I would prefer it to not be same sex! I don't want some burly dude with his hands up in my crotch, and a feminine man is even more icky! I'll take a female please, can I request that as well?

I get massages from time to time, and I have tried to let males massage me and it is not relaxing. It is uncomfortable and odd. I'm not saying it has to be a pretty female, and there doesn't have to be anything sexual in nature, I just don't like men touching me that way. I can give a "bro hug" and I can hug my Dad, I have even given a friend a big ol' smooch to be funny, but I don't want to be "caressed" or "fondled" by a man.

Yeah, I get the willies thinking of the possibilities. I don't even like my doctor touching me and at one time I even had a lovely young woman as my primary care physician. I'm just not ready to have strangers in my pants. "Not that there's anything wrong with that" for those so inclined.

This is not about safety this is all about control. If they make travel uncomfortable enough, you wont travel. All the better to know where the hell you are at any moment. If they make it too uncomfortable for everybody then some will accept RFID implants so that they can travel without the shake downs. Again with the implants, all the better to know where the hell you are at any moment. They'll get their way one way or another.

We are continually squeezed, literally. We wanted safety and the fact is life is never safe. This "living thing" will kill you. Nobobdy gets out alive. And so for an illusion of safety we are made ever more compliant.

Funny you should say that!!

I put up a thread yesterday saying exactly the same thing!

How Close Are We?

It is about how people will welcome "The Mark" to bypass all this uncomfortable security stuff, bypass all the upcoming currency fluctuation, and bypass all the Healthcare chaos.

Maybe 10 years ago is was the "latest". Now it is just part of the lexicon for many folks. Creative metaphors for our sexual organs is an art form, allowing people to discuss rather risque things without being outright vulgar.
