Hey ATS, this is a story I am sure a lot of you will like.

A dogs owner dies, and 5 months later, spot is still waiting for the owner at the end of the drive way. Day after day, all day long.

Truly a sad, heart touching story.

If this is in the wrong section, which I think it is, could a mod please move it to a more appropriate place? Please and thanks.

Such a sad story, but at the same time a great story.

I love dogs, they show absolute unconditional love regardless. We humans could learn a few things from them.
Second line.

Sad, touching story, indeed.

This reaffirms my feeling that dogs > humans.

Poor dog. Dogs are great. I like them better than some people.

Ever heard of Hachiko? It's a similar story that goes on not months, but years. One of the best Movies I've seen in a long time- and it's based on a true story. They even used the original breed of dog.

It's worth having a look at.

A great thread, it brings to mind so many of my past four legged friends. Heres another story of undying devotion that lasted fourteen years.

On this page the story of several remarkable and heroic dogs.
