Watch: 'If you touch my junk, I'm gonna have you arrested,' man tells TSA agent after refusing body scanner

TSA threatens man with lawsuit, $10,000 fine after refusing pat down

A man trying to board a plane at San Diego International Airport refused the airport's "backscatter" machine (which takes a snapshot of items beneath a passenger's clothes) got into an altercation with a Transportation Security Administration agent after telling him he'd have him arrested if he touched his "junk" -- and captured the entirety of the incident on his mobile phone.

He posted it to the web, along with an exten

"I stated that I would not allow myself to be subject to a molestation as a condition of getting on my flight," he wrote in an extended blog post.

This is getting out of hand here and I can understand how this guy feels. Have our liberties really degraded to a point where we can be violated on a plethora of different levels is we need to travel somewhere? The crazy thing is, I used to think that being forced to provide "papers" when traveling was intrusive and now, we either have to strip in front of others or allow them to molest us. I recognize the reasonable need for security at the airports but their is a limit to just how far that security should go, as we should never be willing to trade our liberties for securities. That's my belief anyway. Freedom comes at a price and that price is often the a feeling of security.

On top of that, many people are saying that these machines aren't effective, as they can't detect certain explosives powders, such as the substance allegedly used by the underwear bomber. It seems pretty clear to me that these scatter machines are employed for political and economic reasons, as opposed to actual security.

Are we really willing to give up our liberty to entrust our security to an entity that is clearly corrupt and not at all concerned with our best interests?

I've flown around a lot and been subject to a lot of searches. Just the usual pat downs.

Whenever it happens I always mention how this is my favourite part of flying and trust me they get all weird, tap you on the side of the belly or the arm real quick and ask you to walk on.

People fear my junk, especially after a comment like that.

Works every single time, never a failure in my plan to not get molested by saying i enjoy a quick feel.

2 airport trips ago on my way back to Ireland, I was subjected to the random search even though the detector didn't go off. The guy starts patting me down and the usual, but then he says "I'm now going to run my finger round the inside of your waistband." So anyway I was feeling a bit flirtatious so I said go for it, then he does this and grazes the ole pubes on his way round.

So I walk over to my girlfriend and jokingly said "that guy just sexually assaulted me, I'm going to cry in the shower when I get home." The security man looked very sad... Oh well he shouldn't have touched my pubic hairs.

I am not traveling until these are taken out of any destination i will be going too.

Its disgusting. It should have never been allowed, and child porn is leaking because of it. It pisses me right off.

Thank you for the good laugh, Shadow. It opens the door for all kinds of fun things one might say to the inspector/molestors. It also makes me wonder how they feel about having to do this as part of their jobs. I must say, I'd have to quit if my hand (albeit gloved) regularly came in contact with others' pubes -- especially if they appeared to enjoy it. Yuk!

Any TSA employees out there who want to weigh in?

I think it's sickening what people have to go through at the airports all because everyone is afraid to "profile". Isn't "profiling" the way criminals are caught?
Have you seen the video of the 3 year old girl screaming & crying while being subjected to a pat down? This is disgusting! I had to look it up after hearing about it on a morning radio show.

No problemo

I'm full of interesting techniques for getting through airport security quickly nowadays. I have a muslim name and hence got hell at the airports for a few years. First one to get to the check in desk, last person to be given my tickets. First person to get to the security gates, last person on my flight allowed through. I swear they just pressed a button which sounded the alarm each time i'd walk through the metal detector.

I'd basically be in my underwear and a singlet at most security checkpoints, it was ridiculous, until i started acting ridiculously forward during my public strip searches. Then they just tried to get rid of me and i could go about my day

Best not to argue with them, just freak em out a little and be on your way, saves time.

There are way too many funny things you could say to them.

Also, if you're ever getting tattooed and you have a biker shaving you for the tattoo, not a good idea to say this is your favourite part of the process, time and place, time and place...

Who was the gentleman at the end of the video in regards of TSA/FBI/MallCop/Etc.

What was the gentleman talking about, the case we are going to bring against you?

I refused your pat down, refused your x-ray machine, I was willing to be subject to your standard screening, wand, metal detector. You didn't like that so you asked me to leave the airport and because of this you now are bringing a case against me lol?

I understand the need for security, but at what cost?

I agree with the gentleman who refused to subject himself to this, he technically did not refuse the pat down, he stated that if you touch my junk I am going to have you arrested.

I was in the Coast Guard for 6 years and I never got to the point where I was THAT GUY, you know what I mean? the guy who forgets that he is just a normal Joe like anyone else, instead becomes the yes man for the system. The do as I am told, don't question and be damn sure you don't talk about it ever type of person. I understand this mans job is to prevent bad things from happening, but when do you get to that point? I mean seriously, when are you so engrossed with what you are doing that you become a mere robot, and forget that the people around you are just like you, just in a different line of work.

The mentality of everyone is guilty until proven innocent is beyond overdone.

HAHAHAH Very nice. They don't like doing it as much we don't like having it done to us. This surely is a way to speed up the process....unless... of course.... the tsa agent enjoys that type of thing. Now you got problems.

Yeah, they think it's awkward too, make it a little more awkward and hey presto!

Their jobs used to be sweet compared to this, i'd hate to be told my job now entails grabbing at peoples nether regions as a matter of policy, they don't necessarily want to do it, but they want a job, so they have to.

My advice should definitely come with a warning though, do a quick flair and style eval on your TSA officer so you don't accidentally prolong the experience if you don't want to.

I ever have to fly and get subjected to a pat down I'll yell, "HEY IS STROKING MY PACKAGE LIKE THAT PART OF THE PATDOWN???"

That is Some Mo BullSh1t ..... I have found that the TSA individuals manning the screening check points to be the worst. These are Flavor Aid drinking MoFo's that honestly believe the mass media accounts of 911, and believe that with their Blue Epaulet shirts, with sewn on Badges will one day capture Osama Bin CIA guy themselves as he is passing threw the airport to catch a flight

These are the same nosey neighbor type people you encounter in your day to day living. Only now they've been given federal power to smell your feet & fondle your b@lls

all I can muster is WTF? when is enough ....enough?

More people need to resist like the guy in the video. He said it. "If I dont do it who will?" He is aware that only those who resist this kind of intrusive crap have any chance of winning our freedoms back.

Those who just submit to it are as guilty as the ones who are orchestrating the demise of our Constitution.

Good find Airspoon. It was encouraging to see an American with some balls. Who didnt want to have them fondled as a condition of flying.

I refuse to fly now too and refuse to have them pat down my child or myself..I will not be or allow my child to be molested for "security".
If I cant walk sail or drive there I dont go there...simple.

The problem is the "threat" has allways been there..will allways be there..and paranoid reactions like these are less about security and more aclimatising people. I find the threat of the new gestapo and 4th reich control teams much more real, present, vivid and terrorising than guys in caves with b*mbs.

I applaud people like this. It really gives me hope that one day we as a people will collectively stand up for ourselves as this man did.

It's going to take ALL OF US standing up for our liberties and for what is right before things will change. We cannot allow ourselves to be taken advantage of and controlled and expect every thing to get better and work itself out. Once we sacrifice our liberty for the illusion of security, we have started down a slippery slope toward tyranny.

If you fly, do not allow yourself to be touched or scanned. Turn around, get your refund, and walk out. If enough people stand up for themselves, they will get the message and back off.

We really need to stop fighting each other and start fighting the real source of the problems plaguing our nation.

Someone else posted the same topic, so I am copying my post from that thread to this one since this one was made first.

I know of two people that work for the TSA at JFK. Whenever I show my discontent for the TSA, they are the first to come to its defense, one of which calls people that show discontent for the TSA "ignorant rednecks" because most of the people you see are not posh little buggers, but rather normal people like you and me.

Well, now that I have brought this atrocity up, I cannot wait to see how these two defend it this time. Homeland Security is one of the most unconstitutional institutions in the history of the United States, probably second to the Federal Reserve.
