what I'm saying with the above image is:

1) Missiles and Rockets have flames coming
out of their exhaust ports.

2) Commercial Jet Aircraft in normal flight DO NOT.

On rockets and missiles they are called
boosters. On fighter jets they are called
afterburners which makes them look
like they have flames coming out.
As I showed that image above there is
a round white light source I assume to be
the exhaust of a rocket engine. And I pointed
out it could not be a reflection of the sun
on a round nose cone cuz the sun was
setting from the rear of the object making
a round reflection anywhere from a plane
impossible. So if a round sun reflection
is impossible then it can only be a missile
or a rocket.

Wait..so the Chinese potentially risked starting WWIII by firing just 1 missile that didn't hit its target, so the US shrugged its shoulders and said 'oh well, no harm done.."?

I congratulate you on the time you have taken to come up with this theory and its supporting claims/evidence (sorry but I just dont buy the 'contrail' explanation anymore than I buy the 'planes were hijacked by cavemen with boxcutters' claim) but I just think if this was in fact a case of aggression shown by the Chinese, I seriously doubt nothing would have come of it.

Hello Boondock. If it is a missile (which I think it is) then the exhaust is
called a plume and not a contrail. I made the same mistake in calling
it a contrail.

en.wikipedia.org...

lol, sorry my bad
I'll try to correct myself
in the future

note to self: missile exhaust is plume
maybe I should write it on the board
a couple hundred times, lol

While I'm not sure I buy the chinese missile theory what could the US really say or do about it??
If the Chinese sub was in international waters and fired a misslile away from the US then whats that got to do with the US?
The US conducts war games off china's coast regularly.

I'd say the US would be embarrassed into denying China actually got that close undetected...
That's if I bought the initial story ofcourse

you have to remember the rules of engagement.

Do not fire unless fired upon.

The missile was not aimed at us.
It was aimed out to sea.
Basically like somebody stands on the
other side of the fence and shoots it
up in the air. It's warning shot.
However, that intercepting missile
was aimed at the first one
but missed.

Basically it was like parking a Chinese
Sub 35 miles of the coast and then
launching a missile in the opposite
direction. It was just a test and
a warning. The only bad part about
that scenario is, it's so close to the
coast somebody without top security
clearance is bound to see it.

bingo,
I guess that was one of the reasons
why they did it just to prove they
can do the same to us that we do
to them.

And what could the US Military do about it?
Pretty much what they did. Shoot at it.
However, I am assuming they realized after the first miss
the missile corrected it's trajectory that they
then saw it was headed out to sea and wasn't
a threat to us anymore.

That picture proved nothing be honest, there is no evidence that it is clearly a Chinese missile, Chinese missiles don't leave a unique signature therefore you can't prove that it was a Chinese missile.

the US Military has already said it wasn't
theirs.

They sure did! And after two days passed, their missile count, and their hemming and hawing around, they decided to call it a plane. lol Let's not forget that for two days the pentagon said they didn't know what it was.

Well if this is correct then wouldn't firing on their harmless and completely legal missile seem a little unecassary and hostile? Ifthey were in international waters and doing no harm?

So, Op, do you think the 50 missiles that went offline have anything to do with this?

well that depends on a few variables.
When a ballistic missile is launched,
most times they go straight up toward
the sky. So when the US warning net
goes off, there is no trajectory projected
for it. However it being so close to the
Mainland they can't wait for it to make
a turn to see where it is headed. So they fire
first before the telemetry is done and hopes
of acquiring the trajectory while the intercept
missile is in flight. As you can see, the intercept
missile reaches the other missile before it makes
it's big sweeping turn. Once the turn is made,
then the telemetry at NORAD tells the operators
they missile is headed out to sea and is not a threat
anymore. Which is why you probably don't see
a 3rd contrail in that image. Why shoot down
a missile if you know for a fact it will not harm you?
However, on the first intercept shot they couldn't tell
that info at that time.

Thunderheart
I do not know.
And I would not want to speculate
about that incident as I have done
absolutely no research on that event.

But to be honest, I wouldn't be
the least bit surprised if they were
connected.

Very interesting stuff. The plane theory has always been a weak argument to me. Nobody convinced me that it was a jet contrail... but wanting to see how this pans out about your theory of the Chinese missile..

Very interesting that no one is at hand to debunk. Perhaps dated web pages are being built as we speak

Peace

I agree with this scenario, it is clear that it is not a contrail from a plane (seriously ask yourself, have you ever saw a contrail like that? in my 50 years I have not) ... I agree that it makes sense for the chinese to shoot one across the bow (literally), the Fed is playing games with the currency wars, China is holding a massive share of the Treasury Bonds on issue, and the US is playing print monopoly money by the truckload, and snubbing its nose at its largest creditor... the Dragon has been playing along and no nation is more patient than the Chinese, but the Dragon is awakening and will start to stretch its muscle a lot more ... watch this space..

also, I'd like for those who say it is a plane
to look at the following image.

both of these missiles are moving away
from the camera almost from directly behind
which is why the exhaust port is round
and not oblong.

It may have already been asked but can you provide the un-edited source for your image please?

It is difficult to tell what is what.

dude, I have no clue.
I have been downloading
images of this event for the
last week. I could not tell
ya where I got most of them
except 1 .... and that was from
the original KCBS footage screen
grabs. The rest, I have no clue
where they came from.

PS: Oh yea, that image above showing the
Lockheed Martin missile launch came
from a screen grab of a youtube video
I found on a South Korea Naval exercise.
I don't have the link but if you search youtube
it should be easy to find.
