Yea, I remember that. Mea culpa. At the time, though, it sort-of made sense why Hubble couldn't view the moon. This explanation may ring true, in
some respect. Any telescopic device has a minimum distance before it shows a sharp image. Since Hubble was being used to image objects millions of
miles away then the moon at almost 240,000 was too near to focus on. Boy, was I wrong and was NASA considered a liar that was lambasted on the
forums.
So, yea, I'm wrong about one thing but the way people talk it sounds like all NASA does is lie. Yes, they're also lying about space UFOs but until
they catch one they really don't know what it is they're videotaping.
But I was really referring to the airbrushing that is claimed by conspirators who never go through the trouble to post 2 photos: before and after. I
made this challenged in a letter to the editor of FATE magazine back in the early '80s and no one has taken my challenge.
