Now I'm glad to see this is taking affect. In my area almost every time I see a person holding a cell phone to thier ear, the way they're driving could cause an accident and to me it's scary. I think everybody should have a hands-free device while talking on their cell.

Its about time Oregon did the same. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to leap out of the way of some imbecile on a cellphone jumping the red crossing light.

And I can wait for that ruling to come to GA. the only accident I have ever had in my life so far was from a knuckled head driving 75 mile per hour with 4 kids and a cell phone in his hands he rear ended me.

And then had the face to take me to court to contest the accident, he said I stop suddenly (at 75 miles per hour) the judge laughed at him and told him to take it like a man and pay the fine.

To many accident for lack of brains, some are bad drivers without the cell phone, now you imagine with a weapon in their hands (cell phone)
