BREAKING NEWS: Huge flare-ups at the Tesoro refinery near North Concord

claycord.com

The following was issued by the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services….

Instructions: Residents of Clyde and North Concord are advised to shelter-in-place. Go inside, close all windows and doors, and turn off all heaters, air conditioners and fans. If you’re not using a fireplace, close fireplace dampers and vents and cover cracks around doors and windows with tape or damp towels.

Stay off the phone unless you have a life-threatening emergency.

I didn't see this posted yet and thought I would post as a warning to any members who live in the area or have family in the area. Sound serious and may involve another power outage.

Unofficial: Power outage in Concord caused Tesoro’s Golden Eagle refinery to flare. They do not have their own power plant like Shell does in Martinez.

I know it was last night, but I thought it still falls under the breaking news guidelines. Everything is probably okay but for the Govenor to issue such a warning "tape up the cracks around doors and windows" yeesh. Just trying to give peeps a heads up.
