Our days months and years are finally starting to look like binary code! WOOHOO!

A very memorable Remembrance day to each and every single one of you here on ATS,an extra warm thought of love and prosperity goes out to those whom were/are directly affected with the death or injury of a loved one whilst at combat!

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

WHEN THE TIGERS BROKE FREE
Roger Waters

It was just before dawn
One miserable morning in black 'forty four.
When the forward commander
Was told to sit tight
When he asked that his men be withdrawn.
And the Generals gave thanks
As the other ranks held back
The enemy tanks for a while.
And the Anzio bridgehead
Was held for the price
Of a few hundred ordinary lives.

And kind old King George
Sent Mother a note
When he heard that father was gone.
It was, I recall,
In the form of a scroll,
With gold leaf and all.
And I found it one day
In a drawer of old photographs, hidden away.
And my eyes still grow damp to remember
His Majesty signed
With his own rubber stamp.

It was dark all around.
There was frost in the ground
When the tigers broke free.
And no one survived
From the Royal Fusiliers Company C.
They were all left behind,
Most of them dead,
The rest of them dying.
And that's how the High Command
Took my daddy from me.

When all attention does subside
to numbers that an OP provides
we're left forgetting simple facts;
it matters not how one reacts

The date in question must adhere
to something simple, something clear
yet falls apart leaving it empty;
the year infact starts with a twenty...

2010. Binary does not involve 2.

Sorry...
