A Russian journalist has been attacked in Moscow just days after another prominent writer was severely beaten. No motivation for either attack has been determined, but both men wrote about efforts to stop developers from cutting down trees in forests around Moscow to build highways. You gotta have some balls to be a journalist in Russia.

Their corporations and mafia capitalist groups are completely out of control. Kind of like America, but without this level of violence. Were more civilized now that we have lawyers.

This is the kind of journalism that doesn't take place in America.

At least their reporters have guts to do investigative reporting. They have come a long way since their government controlled the media. Now our government controls ours!
