Well, I was asking to contrast the two, because I think Beck is talking to Jones.

Monday Beck show, he mentioned that he was talking to someone on the whole conspiracy shebang.

He did not mention who, I am assuming it is Jones. I may be wrong, but more than likely I am right.

Jones has been contemplating what Beck is up to. Just wondering.

i heard that and thought he was talking to Mr. Soros since that is his love of the week

That does not make sense. If he was referring to Soros, he would of said he was speaking to Spooooooky dude.

What I am referring to is the part where he was talking about talking to someone on the phone about exposing the whole thing. Exposing the banks, the corps, the control, the gov, etc.

If you do not know what I am talking about, watch monday the 8th show here-www.watchglennbeck.com...

SF, (hah, that's actually a fun pair of initials for this site)

I saw him on Monday talk about someone who said he'd been following Soros for some number of years (might have been 15). It did not even begin to occur to me that it could have been Alex Jones; I'd just assumed it was somebody unknown to the public who'd made a hobby out of privately investigating Soros.

When you put it that way, I might have to take another look, though I still probably don't know enough about Jones to be able to make a judgement.

In any case, everybody this week's series on Soros is worth watching. Even if you hate Beck and he turns your stomach, take some Pepto and watch this week. Not to agree with him (I would actually love to hear from people who think this week's series is a bunch of BS (and actually watched it!) ) but to stimulate discussion. He really thinks he's on to something, and does a good job of convincing me that he may very well be.

When he said 15 years of investigation, when he said that the other asked if EVERYTHING was on the table to be exposed, with the way that Jones has been talking about Beck lately, I assumed it HAD to be him.

I may be wrong, but I do not think so. I am thinking the reason being that he has not stated who he was speaking about is because of the negative connotation of Jones being a conspiracy theorist.

they both push e-food direct and gold.

it always surprises me that people are against advertising.
e-foods direct is a great company, american, healthy food etc.....
i've done quite well on gold, so i can't say a word about it.
so, ats has brought in more advertisers, pretty much spammed this site with ads.
it is their choice, i'm not complaining, but if there is another site that has the same advertisers,
does this mean they are all in cahoots?

What I find HILARIOUS, is the FACT that gold is now going for what? $1400+ USD-www.kitco.com...

Gold is NOT an investment. It is a hedge or an insurance policy.

Also, with the rising prices of food, BOY was that a bad investment. NOT.

I find it ironic and SAD that the advertisers that the leftists have been attacking, are the very things that are going to up in the markets. Oh well, they do want certain things to happen do they not? If people turn away from the very things that will save them, that is exactly what they want.

sounds like you're a nutjob just like myself.
i'm thinking 5 years of food for 5 people that i have in the shed may not be enough.
anyhow, i'm purely an american capitalist, i guess i'm a rarity anymore, i want to see everyone make a good buck and live happily.
the biggest thing i struggle with are the bailouts of the big boys.
wouldn't it be nice to gamble with derivatives and bundled mortgages knowing that once you lose your ass the government will write a check and pay you back for all your losses?
i'm all for a FAIR free market.
let the strong survive, but don't choose the conglomerates over ma and pa.
i'd rather see ma and pa get help.

Yep, crony socialism is what I call that.

Oh yeah, my family thinks I am a freak when it comes to my political persuasion. Of course they all listen to me on investment strategies, it always seems to work out that way.

Hey, preparation never hurt anyone. So you spent your money on things you can use over the years. How does that hurt? It does not.

Thanks for the comment.

Mainly, do you think that Beck is attempting to take the limelight?...............

Or do you think they are working together?............

Folks, do you see?

I would think that Alex Jones would be pissed at Beck for being a bit more creditable then he is and having some of the same conspiracy theories that Jones has been spewing forth for quite some time now. I wouldn't pay too much attention to what either of these clowns say to be honest though.

Why would you say that?

Do you think Alex or Glenn has been wrong on the gold thing? Hmmm?

How bout everything else they bring to the table? Should we just not believe it because where it comes from? In some circles, they would call that a specific way of disenfranchising people or actually delegitimatizing information.

Think about it, how would you discredit something? Putting it out on normal airwaves or by putting it out in formats where the MSM has been attempting to discredit information from these type sources for decades?

That would be your clue.

interesting. i began buying gold at 275. this isn't bragging, i wish i could have held onto most of it.
during tough times i sell some to supplement.
it's been what, 14 years on and off, that i've been tuning in alex on the shortwave.
i'd be lying if i said i agree with everything, but in general, people who disagree with him rarely put up any sort of argument against what he said.
calling him and idiot and not saying why makes one look foolish imo.
i thank alex for explaining to me how the gold market works, years ago.

That is the usual response to conspiracy theorists, or better terminology, conspiracy factualists.

They have no evidence, they have emotional responses or the typical MSM conditioned responses.

Thanks for the comment.

If you buy that gold, when shtf you are going to be lrft smiling holding a piece of worthless paper saying you own gold. If you buy gold, get it in your hand. Of course it's still only going to be worth what someone will give you for it and gold is pretty worthless when everyone wants food and water.

You have to remember to connect the dots:

Alex Jones was in the senate and was running for his own campaign at one point, until he lost. I have no doubt he was a Trend monger and was able to see the light right away when he did.
He has now found his niche, has profited off of it greatly. Has Web, DVD and TV sales. Has appeared on MSTV through Jesse Ventura on occasions, and has been allowed to travel the world, put up a fuss and basically harass anyone anywhere he goes without any repercussions. Have TPTB, set him up in this limelight as a disinfo agent? who knows. We will nevertrully know. If you think about it,he is a genius, or at least the person behind him is a genius, they saw a trend forming and jumped on it as soon as possible. With that, mega bucks are bound to roll in.
I'm sure he's just waking up right now pushing one of the several teenage hookers off of his bed in order to get to his gold plated mirror with that wake me up boost all ready to be inhaled vigorously!

As for Glen Beck....Well anyone with the same initials as George Bush, I just cant trust. Especially when he was against all the conspiracy stuff, then over night has a drastic change of heart, all for ratings, money and keeping his nasty ass mouth running on air. You can definitely tell that as a child Glen Beck spent more time in his moms basement chained, locked up, and muzzled than your ordinary MSM news anchor did.

To these both I say, stop your prancy fancy 1 footed song and dance compilations and get out with some real hard hitting evidence to wake up the masses. Anyone can culminate verbose vocabulary and direct it with indecent propositions. But if you could actually prove what you were saying was true, maybe then I'd feel better knowing you both were bilking millions out of your own southern united states commrads who believe your "Schplecht" (made that one up) and worse off, keep buying into it, whilst waking up and trying to find something to do that is not called "JOB" or "CAREER" after a hard nights KKK Rally and a whack load of Meth!

Really....Who's to blame, the guys profiting off of a good sense of business or the ones buying into the farce?

For a while now I've had mixed feelings about gold. Here's the way I feel about the relationship between gold and SHTF:

1.) If you're preparing for SHTF, gold should be the last thing you think about. Make sure you can keep you and your SHTF buddies fed, clothed, and sheltered. And make sure you have SHTF buddies. That is far, far more important.

2.) If that's all taken care of, gold might be a good idea for the long term, in the hopes that you survive the immediate insanity and eventually some order is restored. But yes, you must possess the physical thing. A certificate will be worthless. If you have to bury it somewhere or just take it with you wherever you go, that's up to you. But if order is restored you might find people start trading again in precious metals. After all, it happened when civilization started; I don't see why it wouldn't happen when civilization restarts.

Just remember:
