Welcome to Asalas little kitchen

Today members you are going to learn how to make a really cool sausage,
its cheap and easy to make

Is called sausage in a blanket!

you will need, (bowls at the ready)

1, A few sausages (1 for each person or more if your not calorie counting)
2, Instant mash petatoe
3, 1 egg
4, 1 tbs of milk
5, a tps of mustard
6, some dry bread crumbs

and a deep fat fryer

Ok this is what we do with it,

Grill your sausages (turning untill cooked)
once cooked, make up your instant mash in a bowl, adding the mustard
cover you sausage in mash(so it looks like its in a banket)

Get your egg! break it in to a bowl and mix your little spoon full of milk.

(carefull to not drop and egg shell in in)

Now dip your sausage blanket in the egg,

Now quick so it dont drip roll it in the bread crumbs (this is fun eh?)

Now make sure you deep fat fryer in on and hot
Put your sausage blanket in the deep fryer for 3 mins

the waaheeyy serve!!!

add chips and a little sauce and you got your self a dinner!!!!

what kind of mustard? the dry stuff you find in the spice aisle or the yellow stuff you put on hotdogs? or can it be any mustard that one is partial too?

the former rather than the latter is more important.

Nice picture pisky

Sounds like a good recipe, asala. I might try it with some venison sausages.
Have you tried it with honey garlic sausages, etc.? If so, how does it taste?
