Indian Neighborhood Terrorized by Cat-Dog-Mongoose Cryptid, The Bhootbilli

There's been Bhootbilli sightings, or commonly known as a "ghost cat"
Seen near the town if Pune, India. This enlarged feline cryptid
apparently had consumed 45 pigeons and a goat belonging to one local resident.

The creature sightings have been in the Sanjay Park neighborhood ~100
miles outside of Mumbai. Looks to me like they have their own Chupacabra mystery now. Chek the link and think.

A "weird, scary creature" has been giving residents of Sanjay Park area sleepness nights. Those staying near the airport in Lohegaon are complaining about a Bhootbilli (ghost cat), which they say has been feeding on domestic animals and birds for the past 10 days.

Black, smaller than a lion, larger than a hyena, long tail, arboreal... am I the only one thinking hypermelanistic leopard?
