Detainees were put through 2 hour sessions. A 40 second 'limit' was not to be passed when they poured water on the detainees face.

Not only that, but the CIA started to witness a development in the detainees where they basically gave up, and allowed themselves to drown.

After reading the bottom paragraph, you can see that they were treated like experiments, or guinea pigs as the article states.

"NOTE: In order to best inform future medical judgments and recommendations, it is important that every application of the waterboard be thoroughly documented: how long each application (and the entire procedure) lasted, how much water was used in the process (realizing that much splashes off), how exactly the water was applied, if a seal was achieved, if the naso- or oropharynx was filled, what sort of volume was expelled, how long was the break between applications, and how the subject looked between each treatment."

Wow, this smacks of the sort of crap the Nazis used to pull. The people who do this to others need to be either dead, or as far away from positions of power, or contact with people of any sort, as can possibly be arranged. Godamn sociopathic scum. It's a scary read. They sound so callous when they describe the procedure. This is torture, there's no way around it.

The thing that bothers me the most is that I know that Bush and his cohorts will just walk away from this. It's disgraceful that something like this could happen in a western nation, and it shows that the so called "elite" really are above the law. :/

What is the point of information when no one cares?

Does anyone care that almost a thousand innocent Pakistanis have been slaughtered by American drones knowingly?

Information is useless if no one pays attention, or if everyone turns a blind eye, or if no one gives a F..

Obviously the victims do, and what goes around comes around.

May GOD help Americans if they get captured by the victims of such atrocities, we have already seen beheadings, imagine if the victims of American atrocities turn to torture for revenge
