Keith Olbermann Back in the Saddle Again!! MSNBC Hires Him Back!!

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Suspended liberal anchor Keith Olbermann will return to the MSNBC lineup on Tuesday, four days after the cable news network suspended him for giving money to three Democratic politicians.


MSNBC said in a statement on Sunday that Olbermann had been punished enough off for violating parent company NBC News' policy against making such donations without prior approval.


"After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night's program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy. We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night," MSNBC president Phil Griffin said.

Imagine that, this was all some kind of ratings ploy from the get go.

I cannot believe the big deal everyone made about this and now, here is back in the saddle after his widdle smack on the wrist.

Wonder why they rehired him? Why fire him so publically in the first place, if you are gonna rehire him four days later?

Two words.

Well, he wasn't fired, he was suspended. His suspension period was undisclosed. Maybe he was only suspended for a few shows?

They just wanted to "show" that they took an action, but knew that losing him would not be favorable for their network/ratings, so...they lifted the suspension after just two days (Monday & Friday),. Pure drama, nothing else. Rachel Maddow went on to say how they were different from Fox...yeah, OK, Rachel.

I can't stand how people act like FOX News is all corrupt but the other stations are great and full of truth.

Keith Olbermann is just as much of a shill as Bill O'Reilly.
