I've been watching this site for a while and have never seen this many airplane incidents at the same time in the US - there are about 12 listed as of me posting this.

Lol, just joking.

I dunno, maybe all the aircraft are reaching their replacement era.
Qantas airlines A380's are all grounded due to engine issues.

Just coincidence. There are a lot of planes in the air, and they all have parts that fail at some rate. Over a long enough time period, failures will coincide.

What gets me is that the same pilot from the A380 engine failure flight had an engine flame out on a 747 the very next day!

There was an incident, in TN, I think, involving 2 ppl & a certain type of aircraft. The US must have grounded all other aircraft of that particular make & model. The times on those incidents are all after the TN incident.

I figured it out. Mostly.
