Im sure this idea must be in circulation already but i thought id chuck it out anyway. Many of the major points drawn on the global economic melt down theory seem to tie themselfs to that of the repression of new technology.

im not exactly an expert in these fields so ill just summerise, if anybody feels the need to elaborate or contest feel free.

Ok here are the uncontestable facts:

the whole world economic system works using dollars which are backed by oil.

alternative energy sources such as fusion, zero point the works WOULD directly compete and WOULD likly overpower and end the oil industry ( at least in terms of use as a fuel or for energy needs ) , greatly undermining the dollar

we are currently undergoing arguably the worlds greatest economic crisis, where by the dollars chances of survival seem dismal.

said crisis seems so easily predictable and observable that it should have been preventable. ie who thought the fractional banking system was a good idea? circulating money with no capital counterpart leading to the dollar bubble or massive devaulation of currency.

Gold and silver prices are rocketing as a result of a lack of faith in the dollar. gold and silver being the only solid currency over human history.

Facts said. the dots are easy enough to connect. Its just an alternative less evil logical conclution than perhaps the new world orders plans to dominate all life on earth etc. all the twenty twelve predictions might actually signal the birth of this new non oil based age.

if the dollar collapses and trade reverts to gold and silver based economy, or even a new currency arises but without connection to the dollar this would be an ideal transitional period in which to indroduce new technologies such as cold fusion or anti gravity without devestating the economy. indeed a global meltdown would be required to spark such a transition. I personally beleive if this global bubble does burts it might pave the way for such developments. needless to say whose hands these may be in and if there in our intrests or not seems like another question so ill leave that for all the other posts associated with said topic.

Very good topic.

This has come to my mind several years ago, as i was realising that a delberate collapse of the economy was in the planning.

Maybe its even a global known dollar-oil collapse that was prenegiotiated by the world leaders to go to a
different stage via the exotic new energiesystems that will emerge to preserve the standard of living and the global economy as a whole and continue from there..

It would make sense because the US is now adopting a MAD like economic policy that will destroy the dollar and the global currencies all together, and then out of the blue will propose a new way if you will, a new energy source based economy that will pave a new way for the global economy.
But the US will probably want to take as much advantadge of it to reign as the world leaders once again and hold that status, and they will play it hard to achieve that.

But now the US has competition from the rest of the world: Russia, Europe, China who are maybe a bit behind on that tech but can throw their weight arround to negotiate what the final deal maybe.

Either way the petrol-dollar is finished and that is a good thing imo.
