Most of mine have been mentioned, so some others....

Mel Brooks' comedies: Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, etc. (I did see Young Frankenstein was already there)
Princess Bride
Airplane and Airplane II (I think only the first was mentioned)
A Man Called Sarge (Airplane type spoof, but of WWII)
Shawn of the Dead
Napoleon Dynamite (though have to be in the mood for it)
Wet Hot American Summer (funny 80's type spoof, and has a ton of people in it you'll recognize)
Gross Pointe Blank
Dogma (from same guy as Clerks)
Mallrats, Chasing Amy (also from Kevin Smith of Clerks fame)

oh and to add to my list : I think it's called The Matador with Pierce Brosnin of all possible leading men. You haven't lived till you've seen Mr Suave saunter through a hotel lobby wearing nothing but his panties and cowboyboots clutching a bottle of booze and smoking a cigar.

I love comedy

Here are some of my favourites (in no particular order):

Hot Rod

Anchorman, Step Brothers (any other film featuring Will Ferrell. Seriously.)

The Hangover

Wayne's World

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Delirious (with Eddie Murphy.. it's kind of a movie..)

The Darjeeling Limited (not LOL guffawing comedy, but funny nonetheless)

Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy (many of Jim Carrey's films)

Monty Python films, esp. the Quest for the Holy Grail (being British, I have little doubt that you would be previously familiar with at least some of these..)

Human Traffic (Britcom classic)

Role Models

Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead

Team America, Baseketball

The Jerk (Steve Martin is King.)

Sideways

Trading Places

ENJOY

And, if you're into television, might I suggest hiring out:

The Mighty Boosh

The Office (UK)

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

South Park

Family Guy

Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Black Books

Saturday Night Live

Blackadder

Summer Heights High

Fawlty Towers

Scrubs

Cougar Town

Kath and Kim

Drawn Together

The Angry Beavers (a bit childish, I know)

Reno, 911!

I've been a Mighty Boosh fan for ages, I've posted a few clips on ATS before but I'm not sure anyone "got" them

I'm a huge Boosh fan. I think they're genius, especially Old Gregg:

I know, not many people seem to appreciate their humour!

Carry On Cleo; if only for this line, which should be sacred for all conspiracy theorists;
"Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!"

They are "new" to me. Thanks ! They sure must be worth checking out. If you mean Pierce "Bond". That must be a "must see"

I need to add these John Candy films. It's really sad, he's not anymore...
-Armed and dangeros
-Who's Harry Crumb ?
-Only the lonely

Yes Prime Minister, is also a "classic". (BBC comedy)

"It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" (1963)

Bringing together some of the top comedians from that era created a timelessly funny pic. I enjoyed it as a kid and my own chldren did too. I've watched it multiple times and still laugh out loud -- that's the measure of a truly successful comedic movie.

If you dont mind watching a foreign movie that is dubbed, then I highly recommend this french movie made in the 60's called "The King of Hearts". It really is hysterical and a lot of read between the lines of humor as well. It has been on my top ten list for a long long time.
