Considering that variety is the spice of life humans really do have the ability to be narrow minded. Anxiety and depression can be quite debilitating and are certainly not imaginary. Like you said; changing situations and doing new things isn't always the answer - some things aren't so easy to change. Support and understanding is increasing but still has a way to go in my opinion.
