That looks Just like one of my club lasers in program mode. Im not saying its not something it jsut looks exactly like it and if you shot it on plexi glass it would be identical?

Can`t be mistaken for skydivers or Chinese Lanterns I`m thinking. Now balloon with a leak perhaps.

That's not the "Izatt effect", that the jerking around effect!


As another poster noted, a tripod would not have allowed the zig zags unless the tripod was hit constantly.

I think that it is obvious that the person is jerking the camera. At times you can see the corner of a tree coming in and out of the frame. I create this effect with my camera all the time. Crap he even does it in this video with the moon a few times.

Some cameras have a "night mode" that stacks several frames, making a brighter image but reducing the frame rate to 1 frame per second or something like that.

I know because I have used a Canon MV730i that uses that system.
