In the UK on sunday 14th of November, the system went down for several hours for Natwest and Lloyds TSB and they were unable to withdraw money or use their cards. On Monday the 15th, (I work for the company) in Primark throughout the UK our system went down an 1hr and a 1/2 before closing and we were unable to do card sales.

Strange that something similar was happening in the US not too long before.
