Happened to run into this via facebook and thought it would be a nice topic opener on ATS. I read through many threads similar to this, and it is just fun interesting news. I am too lazy currently to find more details on this law or how many voted for or against it, but I may in the morning.

Anyways it was a vote in Denver, Colorado on allowing the city to create a council for extraterrestrial relations;like giving and receiving gifts, first contact, the good stuff.

Enjoy!

It'd be interesting to see this motion passed. Just to see if it would get any attention from the "ET's" or if the program they want to set up served any purpose. It might get set up and nothing may happen.

Cheers

It failed miserably. last I saw showed 92,000+ votes for no, and only 12,000 for yes.

At least that was the status at 10pm Nov 2nd.

So who knows. Offically won't know jack until Nov 26th.
