You have heard about the two billion dollar trip to India, the two million dollars a day, the forty planes, 34 war ships, 3,000 people accompanying Obama,

but did you know,

Coconuts are being removed from the trees?

www.dailymail.co.uk...

www.telegraph.co.uk... .html

All coconuts around the city's Gandhi museum, one of Mr Obama's stops in the city, are being taken down.

Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his freedom struggle against the British, is among five places the US president is visiting in Mumbai.

"We told the authorities to remove the dry coconuts from trees near the building. Why take a chance?" Mani Bhavan's executive secretary, Meghshyam Ajgaonkar, told the BBC.

Serenity now, serenity now.

This is the third time I've tried to read an article related to Obama's trip only for it to have been "removed" from the original MSM site. What's going on? Are these precautions really that secret that they don't want people to report it? Removing coconuts?

Do you have any idea how many people are killed by falling coconuts?

Never lived in the tropics did you?
I remember complaining about the price of a coconut at a fruit stand in the Virgin Islands, refused to pay so much for something I could get for free...walked away a few steps and wham!
A coconut fell from the tree at my feet. I looked at the fruit stand operator, standing with mouth hanging open... picked up my coconut and walked away!

Your link to the news on the Telegraph doesn't work but this one does.

What a joke, but I suppose you could use the coconuts as grenades?

toilet paper in India? Please im begging you, show me where to find toilet paper?

nah jk
toilet paper is 100 rupees per roll
a coconut is 17 rupees per nut

lets put it this way, would you rather have obama or biden as president?
cut down the coconuts i say. it would lower the prices of coconuts for a week at least. wiping your ass would still be a bitch though.

They aren't removing coconuts to look pretty...

Coconuts are dangerous; there are many people every year who are killed by coconuts that fall out of trees and bonk em on the head.

Although I have no ill will... I think it would be somewhat comical if a coconut got Obama

The story came up fine for me... The second link is broken. Is that what you're accusing as being "removed"? A broken link? Nice assumption.

And what is the conclusion of this story? That Barrack Obama is such a creep and a jerk that he's ordering that coconuts be KILLED!!!? It was the Indian Authorities who decided to do this. How does this reflect on Barack Obama? Anyone? Or is this just another cheap shot? That's what I thought.

Every year in India people are injured or even killed by falling coconuts.
