does it really matter who wins or looses in US elections? I mean all major parties in the US republicans, democrats, tea party have very similar interests and are mostly puppet on the string of corporations and banks

The thing I hate about the republicans is they talk all this smaller govt. but then they are scared of everything and spend gajillions to fight the terror of the horror of the terror, and they say small govt. but are the world's WORST about wanting to hire more and more and more cops, and often the agenda is to soft-porn purify America - IE push their religious crap to the extent they can and get by with it - and fight this horrible 'war on drugs' which also means more cops. If Republicans can think of a reason to hire more cops or more soldiers they will. I think some would like "an Army for God"

Democrats aren't much better- they just expand in another direction and march full speed ahead over folks that want to go a bit more slow. Government feeds itself and it finds the FAT no matter who the cook is, cause corporations are slipping it candy and coke.

There are alot of things unreasonable about being harrassed on a daily basis by police officers whether you are walking down to the grocery store or minding your own business on your own property. You should not have to constantly prove your citizenship on a daily basis, which this law allows for. It allows police officers to stop you as many times as they want and require you to present ID. That is unreasonable. Simply "living" your life as an american citizens is not a "privilage", it's a right.

Even though such scenarios could happen does not mean they do happen. And we live by the what is instead of the what if's.

It's hilarious to see all the so-called Tea Partiers on the board today rejoicing because their beloved life-long Republican politicians are in power in the House! I KNEW it! Many of us here have said that the GOP is using the Tea Party name... I can now see that the Tea Partiers are using the Tea Party name, too! It's just a way to pretend that they're not loyal to the GOP, when secretly, they want Republicans to be in power again!
