Greetings neo ... a couple or three observations if I may?

1. The emotion conveyed above seems slightly and creepingly orgasmic in regards to anything Pelosi.

2. "Goneee..." rhymes with pony, macaroni, mascarpone (great survival recipe btw), so more emphasis on the 'o' than the 'e' would probably make more sense.

3. I just wanted to make sure you are getting your hopes up for real change ... are you?

Just messing neo, I think it's always good for government to have balance in power ... it makes it slightly more challenging for the puppeteers to manipulate the puppets. They have to make two phone calls instead of one.

I pondered the very same questions when I saw this thread.But bit my tongue.tried to stay focused.
I question why these types of threads are usually so successful in making it to the top page.I ve seen alot of this since ive been here and I havent been here long.I could not in good consience, no matter what side of the fence I fell on, start a thread with a tittle like that, or an opening post that lacked any kind of thought process whatsoever.
But I'm here because I know there will be members also here, who know what the Op was trying to imply,and we know that good debate and conversation will follow regardless of the Op's lack of ability to express himself or herself in a slightly coherant way.
What was Pelosi anyways?What did she do?She was nothing.
Just a prop, nothing more nothing less.She was a becon of despise for the right and the left.
She was put there so people would loath her so much, any replacement , no matter how bad as well....would look like an angel compared to Pelosi, and this is exactly what we've seen happen.
Nancey pelosi did nothing to affect any kind of real change in America.
This is another illusion created by TPTB.She was designed to be a becon of distain, her arrogance and disregard for the coomon person made her a false illusion of contempt even though she really did nothing.
So the OP's joy that pelosi is goneeeeeeee....is really misplaced...because John Boehner will fill the same puppet role and accomplish nothing but what his handlers tell him.

Where can I find other like minded comments? I say this constantly in less words. Why do we continue to follow this polarizing party affiliation? What has changed? I'll tell you. Only different pockets to fill. Nothing is different for us this morning. Same story, different corruption. It is insanity. If you continue to vote a straight party ticket, we're going down together. Pelosi is better suited in a retirement home for looneys on the left coast than being speaker of the house or a congresswoman period. Pelosi, Boxer, and their California commie/socialist mindset need to get outa dodge. Every time I hear Pelosi talk about what she has done for the middle class I vomit in my mouth. What BS. She has done everything she can to keep the middle class middle! Raising taxes on upper middle class income brackets, forcing health care coverage for small business owner's employees are two things that discourage econimic prosperity for individuals in the middle class.1. I recently worked with someone from California, and I asked about why the state was so broke. This person said that the Govt. there tries to help the "poor" get ahead in life by unempoyment and welfare. Im not an economics genius, but no country has ever succeeded in supporting the population by those means and having things progress. It just creates a massive welfare state with horrible economics and people get paid to breathe, and not work. Look at old Russia, and other modern communist countries. It also creates a massive class divide between the "poor" and upper class. The middle class is usually all but eliminated, so the wealthy and powerful are aligned with the Govt. and control the masses by handouts. No new wealth is created for citizens unless directly allowed by the ruling elite or govt. Also, Communism and Socialism have set the bar for the two philosophies that encourage mass murder and genocide. The Socialist Nazi's killed 6 million Jews and political opponents, and Communism worldwide has killed over 100 million people as a very conservative estimate under Pol Pot, Stalin, and the likes. We need fiscal conservatism, we need debt reduction and balance so China will not own us, we need to buck the UN, and in my opinion become a centrist conservative Republic that encourages a full life by honest (I realize that honesty is a tall order in the big scheme of things) individual means such as entrepreneurship, hard work ethics, honesty and integrity, capitalism, and equal God given rights. Special interests needs to get out of politics, lobbyists need to get out of Washington DC, pork barrel ear marks need to go the way of the dinosaur, and term limits need to be imposed on the House so we do not have these same corrupt establishment Dems and RINOs crapping on our Constitution and making back room deals to shove agendas down the public's throat. I hope this election has brought enough of "the new breed" that is sick of the corruption and same old ideas and comprimises that we really see a new direction that gives REAL hope and change.

So requiring immigrants to keep papers on them is violating "their" liberties? Hello there are steps to acquire the protections and benefits of this country. First off the rights of those who chose to disregard the legitimate steps to come to this country are of minor import, they seek the protection of our laws by disregarding them? Second we get to hear about the lovely ways Mexico deals with their immigration problem and get chastised by them?? A bit hypocritical me thinks. I agree, and although it doesnt surprise me to see the same ignorant tongue lashing coming from the die hard libs, the liberals I'm surrounded by every day even have come to hate that (word that rhymes with witch)

I mean how disconnected can you be? She flew back and forth from San Francisco to D.C. multiple times a week on the tax payers dime at a staggering cost to tax payers. Even flying first class would annoy me, but this woman had her own USAF customized G-4 private jet!!!!!! Meanwhile, families are losing their homes, their jobs, and are struggling to even afford crappy food for their children.....

We dont know if the new speaker will be any better, but we can sure hope. Ive been so disappointed with the state of politics in this country, I cant even remember the last time I made a vote of confidence for a politician.

For me, its been choosing the lesser of two evils for a while now, and that doesnt exactly give me a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see how much of my hard earned pay check goes to the government.

That being said, I truly hope the politicians have started to see how pissed off the good people of this country are with the state of things.

Sadly, I have never been more ashamed to be a Californian. I am stunned that Barbara Boxer is going back to Washington. Things here in Cali are really bad, I say get all the incumbents out and let someone else have a go, dem or repub, just get the career politicians out!!! I guess people would rather have "business as usual" and its a god damn shame.

Actually, Nancy Pelosi has not "gone" anywhere, friend. She was reelected with her normal 70+ percent of the vote and will continue to be a leader for the Democrats, granted in a minority status, in the house. And after another two years, when you people once again prove that all you care about is 1)CEO's 2)Corporations and 3)Wall Street, the Democrats will ride yet another wave to a big victory, and she will be laughing at your petty little post on a petty little message board.

Hell, even if she wasn't re-elected, she's more successful as a human being and has done far more to help far many more people than you could ever dream of--while you hide behind a screen name on the internet and shout like a 10 year old bully in elementary school.

2010 obama and the left were checked and have been made aware of the true discontent that the majority of americans were feeling.

things have changed better or worse people will argue but the left has been stopped cold in its tracks and hopefully our voices just may matter this go round.

if not things change like they always do they will get kicked out

we have been given a chance a chance before we did not have by things such as the care act,clean air act,financial reform act, the continuation of the bailouts.

The new speaker of the house will become the new comic relief for a few writers in TV and the rest of the country will miss Nancy's remarks.

I'm relieved to see some folks actually seeing through this entire facade of the 2 party crime family. There is NO difference between either party, nor any candidate at their core. They are ALL serving vested interests, which aren't, if you haven't noticed by now, ours.

The two party system is probably the worst development in American politics since it's conception. Evolve a hundred generations huh, the funny thing is that the human brain has actually been shrinking over the last few thousand years. I think the movie Idiocracy did a pretty good job of summing up where we're headed.
