The Republicans are in office - the country moves toward fascism
The Democrats are in office - they quell the mob and piss enough people off to get the fascists back in office.

IMO they are less fascist - or maybe not - but they are the smiling face that allowed the fascists to creep up and stab you in the back - atleast with the Republicans, anyone with half a brain knows they are fascist and what they are in for - with the democrats its like they turn the temperature down on the stove top to stop the water boiling over - then the Republicans get home and turn up the heat again.

I am of the Opinion that Republicans Represent...........


A Belief in a Smaller Role of the Central Government. It means that the Republican Philosophy reflects upon the power of individuality. In regards to the Country, it focuses a lot on States' rights. You have your Federal Government and your State Governments.





That means that Republicans do not want the Federal Government imposing on the State Governments.
Most of the power will lie in the hands of the State Governments. It brings more power to the State Governors. Also, this extends to the counties of the State. It would mean a smaller role of State Government in those States.






Overall, the Republican Philosophy is opposed to the role of a Larger Government. It would mean the Government does not impose on your money, your freedoms, your lives, and so forth. This is overall good as it teaches people to be Independent. The people within the GOP do believe in helping people out. However, it encourages people to not constantly depend on the Government. The GOP philosophy encourages a strong sense of Independent Will. In short, the GOP Philosophy is that if people got their stuff togetherthey do not reallyneed Help, let alone Help from the Goverment itself .

Because it's your opinion and those are subjective.

I'd say the Patriot Act is some damn good evidence of their Fascist nature, The Democrats are the softhand of this system. The Republicans are the hammer on the head. I echo ghostsolider, this seems planned out. We'll get two years of gridlock and a new neo-con thug in 2012.

The size of the government increased under the last Republican presidency dramatically, infact its been growing under virtually every presidency, Dem or GOP. And when they say "We Stand For Smaller Government" - the subtext of what they are saying is "We Are Going To Give Corporations More Control Over You" - And that's a fantastic thing for a democratic nation isn't it? , they sell off Public assets, cut taxes for the Super-Rich, give more money to the Military Industrial Complex, etc etc etc.

And Individualism and Social-Darwinism has been a corrosive element on society.

By placing the "responsibility"/blame of why people fail at life on the individual - it absolves the government of any guilt it should be feeling for its corporate-welfare policies. The Government gives power to the corporations, the corporations rape everybody, MSM makes it all seem normal, and the individual has been fragmented by culture-creation has to accept the system without even seeing the cage around it.

By making everyone have to compete to get ahead - business take advantage - hence why wages haven't risen in 3 or more decades - but CEO pay has increased 5-fold!!

You think the "American Dream" still exists? - Only if you are pretty enough and dumb enough to be taken advantage of by the music industry. Or willing to trample on your fellow man to get ahead in business. And for what?

What does America export these days? Hollywood tripe, Military Technology and Porn - that's about it.

Oh but the millions of homeless, thats not a symptom of a broken system, that's their fault because they didn't compete. Oh the millions starving, oh thats not a symptom they just need to get jobs.

This has drifted into a rant, but yeah.

Not to mention the zeitgeist around 9/11 - if that bill had not been passed it would of required divine intervention - everyone didn't know what was going on (pretend or not) and to not have changed things after 9/11 would of been strange, the republicans would of said the Democrats were supporting terrorism blah blah blah.

Not to mention: How was the Patriot Act written so fast? - It was on the Neo-Con's wish list for years, it was probably written before 9/11 and they seized the moment like it was nobodies business.
