So user Calstorm asked me to make an avatar for her. She wanted it to have a girl in a storm, in front of a CA landmark. I made two of the same image, one more photographic and the other more like pulp art:

Originally i made this one without any lightning. I didn't like it, and i don't think Calstorm did either. It needed some "BANG":

But i like the bright red dress.

I have seen Skeptic Overlords avatar, and like the way it is a full body shot, with a spotlight above, and shadows under the feet. So i decided to try to make that effect. My first attempt:

ON this one, i started with nothing but a blank, black screen and used the brushes to paint this image. LOL, i feel like Picasso

I found a zombie looking santa online, and just put him in front of the family hearth. then made his eyes glow red. I like the way it looks, mostly because i like zombies.

I will get back to making this type of stuff...just doing some other things right now. I did make a really cool avi to use after the Christmas season. I am working on making it look like my name and title are glowing.
