Hello all, I have heard of ATS for a while but never had time to look into it. When my friend medguybeliever showed me a photo he took the other night, it got me curious. I think he posted this in his introduction, but his links to the photo didnt work. Hopefully my links work and someone can tell me what is in this picture. My brother in law saw something acting strange in the night sky and took a pic of it with a Sony Cybershot. I think the camera was set at 8 mega pixels and the picture has a resolution of 3264x2448 and is 1.8 mb in size. Hopefully someone can tell us if this is just light blur, or maybe he didnt hold the camera steady. I am no photography expert, but it seems to me that if the camera moved during exposure there would be just a big blur. Please comment and i hope i get the pictures in here right. BTW, i am new so i hope im not violating any posting rules.

Medguybeliever UFO pic, original size.

The light in the center of the pic is what he saw and took a pic of. He thought its flight pattern was strange. And it disappeared right after the pic was taken.

Interesting, the exif data says it's not been modified and seems to fit with what you said, I checked it for the exposure time, which claims 2 seconds, so it's moving pretty fast for a 2 second exposure - could be anything imo...

Photo-fixed to improve contrast.

Curious, but badwolf pointed out that the exif data has a 2 second exposure. As such, it certainly complicates trying to define what it was. Cool pic though.
