I'm talking to a Mod atm asking why this thread was moved fron the UFO and Aliens thread which it was originally posted in. Considering MMN made mosts of his posts there I'm at a loss as to why the ATS TPTB decided to move this thread here?

Perhaps they might like to make a public admission in this thread?

If I may offer an unsolicited opinion from someone who values mmn's contributions to ats ...

I know you guys' have your heart in the right place and I'm sure that maybe appreciates it ... but trust me when I tell you that this kind of public display thread on his behalf helps no one, least of all mmn. Within a social internet structure where it is encouraged to focus on content rather than the poster, these sort of things tend to fuel the resentment of many parties and often result in achieving the precise opposite of what is intended.

In any case, for all you know it is mmn's choice to take a break.

Send him a U2U if you want and can, but this is a bad idea born of good intentions.

You have misunderstood what I am trying to tell you ... and that is that by doing what you're doing you are not helping your friend, you are inadvertently harming him. For it is him who will feel the repercussions of your actions not you, even though it is you who triggered this not him. So unless this is about you, you might want to consider this advice.

Too late anyway, you lit a potential drama bomb that he'll have to live with.

And I hope and pray that my friends would know better than to do something like this without asking me first.

I agree with you Jim.

Though we did not always (hardly ever) agree on evidence, MMN is far more skeptical and discriminating than I am...he has ALWAYS been most polite, an informative and considerate voice. I miss him also here in the threads.
Have a feeling he is just taking a rest...Certain we will see him back soon, looking fit, frisky and better than ever!

That is if he didn't take the blue pill....and turn into a puppet.
They can do that to people you know...It's a little like a lobotomy.
