I am really happy for you dude. I have been unemployed for 2 years too. I have tried a few commission only jobs but they didn't pay enough so I haven't had a real income for a long time. It really is depressing.

I was out of work for 9 months, gave up on looking as it neared christmas. I then get an interview with a very good agency. I aced the interview, I start the job on the 9th November. I do hope nothing happens to stop me working, I'm working in central london. Its a bit of a target.

My company went into administration on the 20th of October, and I have been unemployed since the 26th - when the administrators finally pulled the plug.

I have never been so frightened about the future in my entire life.

i feel your pain i went about 18months being unemployeed, thank god my wife had a job or i dont know what would have happened.

when i was hired for my current job back in august the relief was amazing, i felt 100lbs lighter.

I've been unemployed for 9 months thank god for employment insurance. I Also used my time off to take an Emergency Medical Responder course, so hopefully I can get onto an oil field as a rig medic or at an ambulance station! With christmas coming up and my EI almost running out, I am getting a bit nervous.
