granted this is a movie and that was scripted but this movie "shenandoah" made in 1965 from a different generation of americans and as such the majority of times reflected society as a whole.




watch the whole clip please and tell me if there is anyone out there in American that feels like James Stewarts character and i ask you people this what has become of our beloved country when we no longer to seek to take life into our own two hands and earn our destiny instead of having it handed to us.

where o where are these kinds of Americans of yesteryear where have they all gone to?

the ending is sad much like present day events are when two oppoings forces clash there is only but one outcome loss and unavoidable.

the more things change the more the stay the same the only thing changes is what we call "war" at the time.
