IF your theory of the US wishing to colonize the Middle East is correct I seriously doubt Isreal would be anything more than a puppet much like the Mujahadeen was.

Amen to the notion that Al-Qaeda is exactly the CIA. I can see no other way around the ingenuity of this organization that purports to be an army of Islam when it was actually funded and created by the CIA.

It is one large criminal organization that will stop at nothing to further create the enemy the U.S Administration needs.

Actually, the Israelis in power are white. They are not the Biblical Jews as you are lead to believe. The Israelis in power are Khazarian Jews from the Caucusus mtns. in Russia. The Khazarian Jews also made and still make up 90% of Jews around the world. The Khazars converted to Judaism and moved from the Caucusus region following invasion about 1000 or so years ago. Apparently the Khazars are even racist to the Biblical Jews, they are called Sephardic and make up the remaining 10%. The Biblical Jews have lived throughout many Arab countries even when there was no Israel and wouldn't be inclined to fight the Arabs who have been nice and peaceful to them for much of history. But the Khazars in power, they have no notion of the brotherhood with the Arabs. There is so much variation within the Khazars, they don't represent any kind of blood line of Biblical Jews, rather they just share the same religion. And yet, they generally oppress the Sephards...

I agree 100% that Al-Qaeda is a CIA creation. It should be spelt Al-CIAda from now on by anyone who believes it.

Also, as it is true that Al-Qaeda is basically as CIA terror group then, as I have long believed, it was the CIA and therefore the US government that carried out 9/11.

If you go back to the Carter administration and the beginning of our involvement with Afghanistan's Mujhadeen, you will begin to see just how "al qaeda" actually came about. (The CIA and Pakistani ISI created it.) They use it as a false front. Why? After the end of the cold war our ravenous military-industrial complex was left without a legitimate enemy to fight. Presto! "Al Qaeda" steps into the vacuum just in the nick of time. Do the research. It's out there for anyone to find.

One of the most curious aspects of al qaeda to date is that everything they seem to do benefits the Bush administration and the puppet masters.

Everything Al Q. has done has benifited the administration? Care to explain? Besides kill a few thousand people they (Al Q.) have done nothing. So how is doing nothing helping Bush out?

I hate to break it to you, but there just a few other significant events that happened in Afghanistan before Carter signed that presidential directive. For example:

April 27, 1978 - Hafizullah Amin stages of coup against the existing Afghanistan government, resulting in the death of the former head of state, Mohammed Daoud Khan. The communist People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) takes control. Nur Mohammed Taraki is named President, Prime Minister, and General Secretary of the PDPA. Amin and Babrak Karmal are named deputy prime ministers. The country is renamed the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan (DRA).

Spring 1978 - Traditional tribal resistance (insurgency) begins.

Late Spring 1978 - Soviets begin discussions with Amin about possible removal of Taraki.

December 5, 1978 - The PDPA signs a friendship treaty with the Soviet Union.

February 15, 1979 - The U.S. Ambassador Adolph Dubs is abducted by insurgents and killed during a rescue attempt ordered by Amin. The U.S. accuses the Soviet Union of initiating the gunfight leading to his death. No replacement Ambassador is appointed.

March 1979 - The Soviet Union begins massive military aid to Afghanistan, including 500 military advisors (with families, implying a long-term commitment) arriving to provide assistance.

March 10, 1979 - Afghan military units located in Herat mutiny, killing 350 Soviet citizens. By March 20, the mutiny is quelled, with great loss of life.

May 1979 - Soviet advisors begin taking over operations at Bagram air base from Afghan government technicians. Diplomatic dispatches and articles in Pravda begin referring to Afghanistan as a “member of the socialist community”. Many take these public statements to mean that the Soviet Union now regards Afghanistan as falling under the Brezhnev Doctrine.

So, as you can see, President Carter's decision to begin arming and training the forces who would eventually be called the Mujahadeen was well based in logic and the anti-communist politics of the time. There were alot of factors involved which motivated Carter. He knew that a Soviet-controlled satellite state of Afghanistan would mean Russian troops on the Iranian border. At the time, Iran was an ally and a massive buyer of our military goods and supplier of crude oil. Keeping the Soviets as far away as possible from the Persian Gulf (and it's oil and warm-water ports) was paramount.

Sorry, but Afghanistan was well destabilized before Carter even knew there was a problem. All Zbigniew Brzezinski indicated was that by getting the Soviets involved up to their necks with Afghanistan, it would be an excellent way to bleed them slowly of money, resouces and men.

And the strategy apparently worked to perfection.

One thing the CIA doesn't have is a working crystal ball. If they could have foreseen the monster (Taliban / Al-Qaeda) they would have played a part in creating, I'm sure they would have thought twice about aiding the Mujehadeen. But sometimes you have to pick the lesser of two evils.

ECC, I respect your right to believe in what you want. But if you think the CIA created the Mujahadeen simply so they could have a credible enemy to fight in the future to drive our military-industrial complex.......well, I think you are all wet.

I don't see why anyone else would feel uncomfortable because Israel is protecting their athletes who have previously been murdered by Islamic Militants. I think every athlete participating in the Olympic Games has a right to feel that they don't have to sleep with one eye open because they have a big red bullseye on their back. If a rule such as the Israeli Security people have to stay only where their athletes are, so be it. But you can't read the story of Munich and tell me they don't have a right to protection especially because the situation now is even more volatile than it was in '72.

As for other people's security personnel... hey maybe I was uncomfortable about having foreign security working a mile from my house... can I kick them out? Oh... wait... there's some of them snapping photos of the Empire State Building and Brooklyn Bridge. Yet Iran would have less trouble bringing security for their athletes than Israel would. I don't think the Israelis would snap pics of the Acropolis for future plans though.

It's mindboggling what these people are getting away with. In fact, everything has seemed off since 9/11...like we're just watching them get away with things, even if they are made obvious. It's been sort of surreal every since this crap started. I'm not the only one who has this feeling that it's fake. My instincts have always been good, and they tell me that there is something very suspicious and very wrong about this whole thing. Of course, trying to tell people of this is like screaming at the deaf, as usual.

Yes, they have a right to protect themselves. Unfortunately, there may be rogues among them. That's the problem these governments are having. They just don't trust them in light of some of the things they've been implicated in. Who could blame them?

No one said the Koran advocates beheading people for political gain. And CERTAINLY no one believes that the Islamic Militants are following the true teachings of Islam. It's called perverting religious beliefs in order to gain followers and it's nothing new. Nothing is more effective when trying to do something than telling people it's their religious duty to do it.

You can either believe that the loony clerics promoting these things are CIA tools or you can believe that they are maniacal extremists using "religion" to accomplish their goals. I find myself believing the latter. This is not a new concept.
