It seems that the courts in Alaska cannot decide on whether to follow state law and precedent from the last 50 years. This in regards to the rules in relation to write ins on the ballot.

Queen Liza Mukowsky wants there to be a list made up for people to see who is on the write in list. Well anyway, since the courts cannot seem to decide on the actual law and it seems they have not come to a conclusion yet, the people of Alaska have come up with a solution themselves.

Senate write-in candidates flood Division of Elections

In a movement one pro-Sarah Palin website is calling “Operation Alaska Chaos,” at least 100 people filed paperwork Thursday to register as write-in candidates in the U.S. Senate election, according to the Division of Elections.

A stream of would-be senators filtered through the elections office in Midtown Anchorage late in the day, many saying the effort is meant to protest an order by the Alaska Supreme Court on Wednesday allowing a list of write-in candidates to be shown to voters who ask for assistance.

I hope they found someone named Lisa Mokowski or something similar. Heheheheheheh. (imagine snidely whiplash laugh)

Now, I normally would call them out for this, but since the darn courts cannot follow the darn law, I find this highly democratic in it's absolute surrealism.

Can you tell us more about the background of the story? Unless I missed something, I couldn't see what all this is about really.

So you are for limiting people's choices on the ballot? You are for making it harder for people to vote for the choice they prefer?

BTW it's Murkowski

Here is the storyline.

Because it is unlawful to campaign at polling locations, if someone is to be a write in candidate, they are a write in candidate. People HAVE TO write in the name of the person they are voting for.

Now, the Liza Mukooski campaign attempted to have a list of write in candidates handed out at the polls. THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW. Has been for decades. It is called electioneering.

A judge barred the lists from being handed out, now a higher Alaska court has not overturned it, but has held it up.

So, the people of Alaska have gone in en masse to register as write in candidates.

I LOVE IT!

No. He's for people following the rules of the state.

BTW .. IMHO ... this woman is just sour grapes.

Could not agree more.

I guess since Queen Leeza Mikoowskey is royalty, I guess she does not have to follow the law.

Do you not just love how when a LAW has been followed for decades, all of sudden it changes for the elitists?

If I was called "John Smith" I'd register as a write in candidate.

A lot easier to remember how to spell than lisa merl*%$%$, %% it, I'll just vote republican!

Over 50% of registered American voters are too lazy to go out and vote with an "X" in the spot and generally vote parties rather than candidates, despite candidate issues/morality/fitness to govern etc. It's why Sarah Palin actually got onto the National stage in the first place - you really think if the average Republican voter would have looked closely at her in 2008 that they would have voted McCain/Palin?

People blindly vote for the same parties every time, without knowing the issues or who the candidates are. They just vote for that "R" or "D" beside a candidate's name, not for the candidate themselves.

It's time that ballots were printed WITHOUT the parties represented on them - that way, at least people would have to pay attention a little bit more to what the candidates were actually saying and who they were rather than just voting the same old way time after time.

How many people would have voted for Bush Jr in 2000 had they only had the debates and stumping to go on, rather than the fact he was the Republican candidate?

I am doing some research into what it takes to start a political party in my state.

I think it is time to use the tactics of the tyrants against them.

I was think of calling it the Democrat socialist party. Run a bunch of left wingers that will promise everyone everything. I already have a few people in my area, ready to get things started. Just have to work out the entire strategy.

I think it is high time to stop them using their own tactics. This election is only the beginning.

We see the people like Liza Mukorki for what they are. We have to keep them out of office.

If it takes dirty tricks like they pull, so be it.

What you suggest here has already been tried. The DemocRATS and RepubliTHUGS sued to keep the D's and R's on the ballot.

I agree with that, I would suggest we abolish parties, take it to the complete extreme.

But your idea has already been tried. The two headed coin has to be taken down though, that I agree.

Hey, I noticed now that I have spelled the candidates name wrong all this time.

Now, this could cause a problem for those out there that are possibly Alaskans.

So, I have done some research and the proper way to spell the Queen's name is this-

M..a...r...i....e....A....n.....t...o...i...n....e....t....t....e
